It feels really peaceful on a very cold winter morning when there isn't any wind. You can barely hear your footsteps as you walk on fresh snow. Then, the Sun slowly rises on the horizon and begins to cast a soft warm glow on the surroundings. That biting coldness of the morning has gone away as the air reaches the melting point of ice and you can feel the basking comfort of the Sun, a solar blanket that embraces every earthling that needs it. But you still feel the cold, but it is not enough to bother you. Then your ears start to hear the birds chirping. A fox suddenly jumps from its hiding. It gives me a sense of gratefulness for being alive.

Surprised to witness tonight a 40-minute fireworks display in Lake Motosu. This is a time blend of 2 different scenes but similar composition. The fireworks were taken tonight, Mount Fuji was taken in November 2024.

It was a surprise to see many birds in Alibijaban Island. But, I was not prepared. Could have captured closer shots using a longer lens. These images were cropped down to 5-10%. But, it is nice look forward to return this island with better gear.
