𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀!

The Aristotelian Parliament of Logic Debate Society found their way out of their comfort zones intellectually and into the realm of sports, showing that their talents extend beyond debate into the world of sports. The badminton doubles were represented by Michael Padual and Ed Jimuel Mateo in the badminton doubles event during the Inter-Org Friendly Game One Day League on 19th October 2024 celebrated by Localized Youth Organization Program in celebration of the Linggo ng Kabataan.

Of course, APL's attendance at the event was no mere overt exhibition of their athleticism, but rather testified to a commitment to promote unity and camaraderie among young organizations. Now with intellect and athletics on full display, Michael and Ed did well to prove that, really, the APL Debate Society thrives in multiple capacities as a whole, inculcating well-roundedness and teamwork in pursuit of excellence.

Michael and Ed, it has been a great pleasure to have you proudly represent APL—whence podium and court, you make us proud!

It is a great exchange of intellectual discussions indeed. Last October 12, Aristotelian Parliament of Logic Debate Society was invited to partake to the Kilos Lagunense’s Upcoming National Elections Policy Discussion to talk about the significance of the public service candidates that we need to vote, emphasizing critical anad analytical thinking pertaining on who will choose to serve us in the coming years.

The event was hosted by the current Prime Minister of APL, Ms. Niña Antoniette Jueco. APL is so proud of you! Tatak APL!

The right to vote is our power to adhere to the deserved public service of our country.

A successful Special Adjudicators Training in collaboration with SAVE featured an enlightening lecture by the former Prime Minister of Aristotelian Parliament of Logic-Debate Society, 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨. He expertly defined adjudication and outlined the essential qualities of a skilled adjudicator. To reinforce our understanding, he presented a sample argument for us to practice our adjudication skills. The event culminated with the well-deserved awarding of medals to participants of the KaPeacetahan. To foster camaraderie and knowledge sharing, we enjoyed a delicious food together and engaged in thought-provoking discussions.
The event was a resounding success, leaving APL and SAVE members inspired and equipped to excel in the world of debate adjudication.

The 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 stuns Council of Student Leaders with a brazen intellectual discussion through an Asian Parliamentary Debate with regards on promoting peacebuilding through technology last September 21, 2024, Saturday at Lazaro Hall in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council (SSC) . Moreover, APL participated in the Peace Pledge activity of the SSC.

The motion showcased for the debate is: 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚.

The debaters featured for the Government Opposition are Anton Karl Garcia, Clariz Germina, and Jastine Miralles, while opposition debaters are Karyl Tumacder, Sarah Warde, and Veronica Apdoro.
