CCF Grace Park Across Ministries recently held a Love Language:Family Edition event where we talked about the different kinds of love languages and how it can apply not only to marriages but also to our families.

We learned that each member of the family can have different love languages such as words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service, and physical touch. The key is being aware of what a person's love language is and speak it so that they will feel loved.

We also learned that love is a choice, and that it makes a difference in our families!

Save the Date! CCF Grace Park is hosting a special seminar for married couples on February 24th from 8am to 5pm.

This seminar is a wonderful opportunity for couples to come together and strengthen their relationship.

The seminar will feature a range of speakers who will cover a variety of topics related to marriage, including God’s Design for Marriage, The Role of Husbands and Wives, Communication, Forgiveness, and Reconciliation.

Whether you are newlyweds or have been married for decades, this seminar is sure to be a valuable experience that will help you deepen your connection with your spouse. So mark your calendars for February 24th and don't miss this amazing opportunity to invest in your marriage!

Last January 20, 2024, Across Ministries held a forum titled: Real talk, Real Issues, Real solutions in Family Discipleship. During this event, we invited several panelists, all who have discipled their children to answer tough questions on the topic of discipling the family.

Issues such as schedules, age gaps between children, and how to start family discipleship were discussed.

The importance of obeying God and imparting His word across generations is truly an important mandate for each family. Parents are the primary disciple leaders of their children and we must be sure that we do it wholeheartedly.

Family discipleship is often overlooked, yet it is crucial in today's world. As parents, we have a responsibility to teach our children about godly values and guide them on the path of righteousness. However, this can be challenging, especially in a world that is increasingly secular and materialistic.

Intentional family discipleship...

We are more than grateful to have all of you at the Launch! God is truly amazing! He turned ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences!

May this event be a reminder of God's love and grace that is always present in our lives. God loves and wants to protect every family.

And as you committed to disciple your family, remember that God is with you and so is Across. We will work together and by the grace of God, Every Family in CCF Grace Park will be a Discipleship Group.

In discipling your family...

Our society isn't first built by government organizations. It is founded in each and every family in the community.

This is why we must start asking God not only to change the nation but to start the change in our own homes.

A healthy home leads to a successful nation!

There may be a lot of resources and people out there who can give good advise on how to set our families right, but the BEST resource is the Author of families!

Make it a priority to ask God through His Word every day on how we can become better family members. His Words are a light unto our feet and a guide unto our path!

As we start this week, let us pray that the Lord may increase our faith, love, wisdom, grace, and kindness inside our own homes. As we are filled with these virtues, we will definitely overflow and be able to share them with others!

Our homes should be a safe haven for each family member to thrive and find God.
Let's remember that every moment we spend inside our home and with our family are seeds sown. Let's sow the seeds of love and faith in their lives. Trust that God will make it grow.

God loves each family and He is deeply committed to supporting every family for His glory!

Families have different kinds of identities.

Some families are identified by their traditions, while some are known by their values and passions. But the most important model of any family is the one who created it - God.

God's design for the family is that it is built on His love. According to Psalm 127:1

Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.

May we always ask God for wisdom to build our families with the empowerment of HIs Spirit!
