FOCUS ON GODS CALLING

Text: Philippians 3:13-14
[13]Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
[14]I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

I- IS FOCUSING ON WHAT GOD WANTS US TO BE
Corinthians 3:16-17
[16]Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
[17]If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

II- IS FOCUSING ON WHAT GOD WANT US TO DO
Matthew 22:37-39
[37]Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
[38]This is the first and greatest commandment.
[39]And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

III- IS FOCUSING ON WHAT GOD WANT US TO HAVE
Micah 6:8
[8]He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

CONCLUSION:
Heeding the call of the Lord is not based on what we can do, but it is based on what he can do for us even when we no longer understand what is happening.

𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟎𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

Romans 12:12, “𝑅𝑒𝑗𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡 ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑒. 𝐵𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑜𝑛 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔.”

𝐈𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧. Our situation may look so hopeless and helpless but if we realize that if we place our hope in Christ, who has been our constant refuge, and an ever-present help, then our hearts begin to fill with joy.

So to stand the test of time, be patient and hold on to the hope that God is working and He is still sovereign and in control of all things. 𝐇𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠. Pray that you may be fully dependent on God and His Word. Being faithful in prayer is being faithful in believing that we are nothing apart from Christ. So keep on praying.

A person who 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 in prayer understands that their strength and power 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑮𝒐𝒅, not themselves. This should be our constant belief: 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐨𝐝. 🙌🏻

God is present, working, and loving in the daily lives of mothers. A mom who fears the Lord teachers her kids to use their strength to serve people in need. A mother's ultimate purpose is to instill in her child a love for God. God can use the tensions of motherhood to transform you.
