After several announcements and confirmations made regarding the opening of Grade 7 (Junior High School) in Vicente Malapitan Senior High School, a promotional activity was conducted to its neighboring elementary school, Caloocan North Elementary School, to also conduct pre-registration to graduating Grade 6 learners with their parents by several teachers from VMSHS last May 24, 2024.

A warm accommodation was offered by Caloocan North ES initiated by its ever supportive Principal, Dr. Carmenia C. Abel, to the teachers of VMSHS who conducted the promotion and pre-registration to their school.

The said pre-registration was spearheaded by the Senior High School Focal Person, Mr. Honesto L. Asadon Jr., together with Mr. Samuel B. Presbitero, OIC-SGH in English, Ms. Mikah Joy Frianeza, Ms. Arlyn Grace Alde, and Ms. Marissa Perez, through the partnership of the SPTA President, Mr. Jun B. Aspe, and the supportive teachers of Caloocan North ES.

"Buti po may malapit na pong eskwelahan para sa mga Grade 7, di na po kami lalayo." according to some parents. Also, "Mabigat din po 'yong 40 to 50 pesos na pamasahe araw-araw, makakatipid na po kami dahil may malapit na pong eskwelahan para sa mga Grade 7", they added.

It was, indeed, heartwarming to hear such words from the parents where they really considered the opening of Grade 7 in VMSHS as a huge help for them.

Creating linkages to the community and building partnerships with them is a great opportunity to make a huge impact to the learners. Let us help one another, let us help the community to grow and foster excellence at its finest!

Vicente Malapitan Senior High School Community extends its warmest congratulations to our School Head, Dr. Maria Theresa D. Torres, PSDS In-Charge, Dr. Ailene A. The Awarding Ceremony was held last May 23, 2024 at the Philippine Trade Training Center, Pasay City. This was spearheaded by the Schools Division Superintendent of SDO Caloocan, DR. JENILYN ROSE B. CORPUZ, CESO V, together with the OIC Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, DR. WARREN A. RAMOS and DR. BRIAN E. ILAN.

Indeed, working together is a success.

Vicente Malapitan Senior High School is also known as one of the schools in the Division of Caloocan City that excels in journalism because of its winnings from the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) as well as represented the school in the Regionals (RSPC) for two consecutive school years.

Apart from that, just recently, Vicente Malapitan Senior High School hails as the CHAMPION from the 2024 National Newscasting Competition (NNC) held last May 20, 2024 at Rotary Club Center, Don Alejandro Roces Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

Princess Xiazhey Flores, together with her Trainer, Mr. Samuel Presbitero, competed among 19 schools, and later announced as the Champion. Indeed, another achievement for our beloved school, Vicente Malapitan SHS.

The SDO Calooacan, through Dr. Tommy Rico, one of the PSDS of the Division, recognized this winning and gave commendation to the delegate, the trainer, the School Head Dr. Maria Theresa D. Torres, and the PSDS In-Charge, Dr. Ailene A. Canoy.

The Division Checking of School Forms in Vicente Malapitan Senior High School was led by the hardworking and very supportive Public School District Supervisor In-Charge, DR. AILENE A. CANOY, together with its School Head, DR. MARIA THERESA D. TORRES, School Registrar, MS. VIRGIE SAGONOY, Grade Level Chairpersons for Grades 12 and 11, DR. TERESITA GALAGAR and MR. DANNY PARAON, respectively, and the section advisers for both grade levels.

The Division Checking of School Forms is essential to ensure the accuracy of student records, which is critical for decision-making, policy formulation, and resource allocation and to validate the consistency of information across various school forms, preventing discrepancies that can lead to administrative challenges.

Installation and Re-assignment of the outgoing and incoming Principal of Vicente Malapitan Senior High School.

MAHALAGANG ANUNSYO: Ayon sa Malacañang, upang mabigyan ng sapat na panahon para sa paggunita ng Araw ng mga Santo at Araw ng mga Patay ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan, ipapatupad ang work-from-home arrangement sa mga sangay ng gobyerno habang gagawin namang “asynchronous” ang klase sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralan sa buong Pilipinas sa Martes, October 31.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng mga pribadong kumpanya at paaralan ang pagsususpende ng pasok sa kani-kanilang hanay.

Vicente Malapitan Senior High School, spearheaded by the Principal Ms. Amelia J. Batalla, held its Teachers' Day Seminar and Team Building Activities last October 6, 2023 at De Cairo's Private Resort and Events Place.

Dr. Ailene A. Canoy, Public School District Supervisor in-charge, graced the event with her presence as she discussed The Importance of Harmonious Relationship and Camaraderie in the Work Place. Each teachers were asked questions that would evoke and elicit responses coming from their own reflections on their personal work experiences in VMSHS.

Mr. Arwin C. Ugto, the designated Assistant to the Principal, facilitated the Team Building Activities and grouped the teachers in two. All the activities conducted provide realizations which can be utilized in the actual work experiences as teachers.

Lastly, Ms. Amelia J. Batalla, the School Principal, provided teachers with gifts as a token of appreciation and to feel the spirit of the Teachers' Day. Thank you so much, Ma'am Amy.

With this, VMSHS Teaching Force is undeniably grateful for this activity. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ailene Canoy, PSDS In-Charge, Ms. Amelia J.
