Business Name Registration now 100% online!

DTI BICOL – In an effort to accelerate the digital transformation of our MSMEs, starting today, August 01, 2023, all DTI Regional and Provincial Offices, including Negosyo Centers shall implement 100% Online Business Name (BN) Registration for the following transactions:

1. New Application, except for foreign nationals or recognized refugee/stateless person, which requires further evaluation
2. Renewal Application
3. Request for Certification.

The policy is pursuant to Section 7 of Republic Act (RA) No. 11302, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, wherein all government agencies, including Local Government Units (LGUs) shall adopt a “Zero-Contact Policy”.

Full implementation of the policy shall commence on August 14, 2023. Business Name (BN) applicants are enjoined to use the online registration system by simply logging in @ www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph.

The Business Name (BN) Registration fees are as follows:
• BARANGAY - PhP 200.00
• CITY/MUNICPALITY - 500.00
• REGIONAL - 1,000.00
• NATIONAL - 2,000.00
A documentary stamp tax of P30.00 shall be added per BN application processed.
The public is assured that the system is available online 24/7 and that online registration process is more convenient using the available online payment options i.e., e-wallet (GCash and Maya), debit/credit cards and LANDBANK Link.Biz.
