What Do You Gain by Praying to GOD

A woman was asked: "What do you gain from praying to God regularly?"
She replied, ′′I don't always gain something but rather I also lose certain things".
She quoted things she lost praying to God regularly:
I lost my pride.
I lost my arrogance.
I lost greed.
I lost my anger.
I lost the lust.
I lost the pleasure of lying.
I lost the taste of sin.
I lost impatience, despair, and discouragement.

Sometimes we pray not to gain something, but to lose things that don't allow us to grow spiritually.

Values books such as Children Around the World and My Bible Treasures were chosen for their rich contents and values-based approach to education. These books were selected as Supplementary Learning Materials in Tartaria Elem School at Tartaria Silang Cavite to serve the Grade 1-6 students.
You are all invited to explore the highlights of the importance and benefits of our Values books by visiting our Kid Lit area, Booth C03 4K (Project Philippine Publishing House) at World Trade Center Pasay City.

YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO SCOOP AND SEE OUR VALUES BOOKS FOR 2024 IN THE UPCOMING PHILIPPINE BOOK FESTIVAL 2024 @ WORLD TRADE CENTER, PASAY CITY ON APRIL 25-28, 2024 I 8AM-8PM.

The 4K PROJECT wants to convey its intention to offer the "Children Around the World", "My Bible Treasures" and “Values Book” (Supplementary Learning Resource Materials). Adding these books to the list of educational materials in the schools, libraries, and library hubs will help promote values-based education and enhance the character development of public school learners. These resources are designed to improve reading skills and instill essential values in our students.

Educational Resources:

"Children Around the World" provides a comprehensive values-based education that focuses on character building through engaging stories and content suitable for young learners. This resource aligns with the curriculum standards set by the Department of Education (DepEd).

"My Bible Treasures" is a valuable reference tool that supports the national recovery learning program for reading initiated by DepEd. It not only aids in improving reading skills but also imparts important values to our students.

These resources are uniquely designed to contribute to the holistic development of children, addressing not only their academic needs but also their values, morals, and overall character development.
