Made a top two days ago and wore it earlier tonight for the beach party..
This is one of my proudest achievement in terms of my craft this year. My work being displayed in public view.
Checking my luggage today and arranging it.. almost half of it is yarn 😍 i tried my best to keep it in minimum as I need go buy snacks for pasalubong (gift)..
Visited Gamcheon village and find this amazing shop in the middle of the village.. It has full of crochet products. I find it amazing 😍
Made a mini project after work and kinda loving my pearl setter. I cant wait to make mote of this.
I always like creating scrunchies. Quick project while waiting for time.
We had a productive afternoon earlier. We thought some ladies how to crochet. This was their finished items.
It’s been awhile since I made this bag but didn’t had a chance to finish it. For some reason could not decide if I want a magnetic snap on it or a a clasp for it.
After I attached the clasp on it, I know it is the right lock for this bag. i can’t wait to add the lining for this creation.
Made a quick sling bag from leftover yarns I have yesterday. I love how it turned out. Perfect to hold a phone, wallet and personal stuff like keys or lipstick.
(Reposting it here. For some reason this post is not posted automatically in here from instagram. It could be due to the short clip I added.)
I bought this beautiful yarn ball in one of the D.I.Y shops in Taipei, just a walking distance from the Taipei main station. It was my first time visiting a crafting. Normally, I spent hours eyeing for my next yarn haul in an online shop. The intention when I went inside was to buy a so that I can make a scarf for someone. An hour later I was bringing few yarns more and other crafting items for me to make other exciting projects in mind.
Fast forward, I traveled with this yarn ball on a hand-carry luggage from Taipei to Hanoi. I also took it on our scenic train ride from Hanoi to D**g Hoi (vice versa) and another plane ride from Hanoi to Cebu. Next week, this mini project will be flying to Sydney to the new owner.
With this project, I learned that I
1. Can travel with my tulip crochet hooks domestically and internationally. I always hesitate my favorite hooks will get confiscated. It’s a great thing to do while you’re in a long haul flights or long train rides.
2. Tried to block my crochet project using my own bed. Not ideal and have to find an alternative blocking mat moving forward.
3. Using small hook and fine yarn can be daunting when working on a repetitive pattern but keep doing and enjoy the scenery while working on it.
Made this new sling bag as a gift for a friend. Loving the outcome especially this is my first time using the material combination. Always a learning curve.
I’ve been seeing some of my friend having their own abaca jute bags these days. I decided to get one myself and make my first sunflower appliqué. I’ve excited to finish it since it is perfect this summer.
Thanks for the tutorial made by in here YT channel. The sunflower looks really realistic.
Took on a request from a friend so I made a sample net top. Loving it! Perfect for summer.
It's been a productive weekend. I made this simple top. I've been keeping this batik yarn for awhile and didn't know how I can use it. I'm so glad I made a workaround and combined it with other leftover yarn.
I'm really excited to show off my first free hand dress. I've been working on this project for the past two weeks on and off while watching TV shows.
Can't wait to try it out.
My reuseable cup is out of season and wanted to make it neutral and functional by creating this cup sleeve.
