Do you know that more than 15 million tons of used textile waste is generated each year in the United States alone, and that the numbers have doubled over the last 20 years?
Of this 15 million plus tons, 19% were combusted for energy recovery, 16% were recycled while 65% or a whopping 10.4 million tons were sent to the landfill!!!

So think twice before discarding that outdated shirt. How about restyling or upcycling it into an edgy top?
