It's been very rainy these past few days and, yes, heavy rain will wash away liquid fertilizers. Opt for controlled release fertilizers (such as Osmocote or Nutricote) in the meantime so you know your plants are getting a steady supply of nutrients.

Want to keep using liquid fertilizers such as Rapid Boost or Plant Buffet? Use these after the rain has stopped, and after the pots have drained out. Saturated media will just drain the liquid fertilizer right out, so it's best to wait a couple of hours until your pots are no longer dripping water.

I totally gave up on this 'Jessenia' pothos months ago. Received it in May 2021 and the first thing it did in the garden was revert. Pruned it a couple of times to encourage it to variegate but it never did, so I threw my hands up and let it grow wild in a corner of the garden that I rarely set foot in.
