There’s no greater role model than a father and a husband who respects his wife and takes good care of his family.
As aspirants, we aim for the greater good of the council and of the community. The first thing we looked into is to be guided and to be together with a slate of good role models so we could be led in the right path. Hon. Edgar S Cañete Jr have shown us how he handles his family well and his children, and that we saw that we are in good hands who have same aspirations and goals for the betterment of Guadalupe. He who has humility, respect, and heart for service. There are times that he left us in awe because of the instances that he doesn’t want to be recognized on his good deeds as he doesn’t want people to know, but we are honored to shout to the community that he is a good, generous, and understanding leader. Guadalupe will be in good hands with him. He doesn’t need recognition and acknowledgement, all he wants is to see the smiles in the faces of Guadalupehanons.
Hugpong Edgar Cañete headed by Councilor Edgar Cañete Jr., a Barangay Guadalupe Captain aspirant, have shown us that a genuine service and a clean mind is more important than the worldly plays in politics.
The aspiring Barangay Councilors of Hugpong Edgar Cañete have instilled in us that we must focus on the brighter side, focus on the goal, and not on the negativities that surrounds this whole period of elections. We are grateful and privileged enough to be chosen as the KA-ABAY of Hugpong Edgar Cañete as they do not only embody good leadership, but also served as good examples to us as the future of our nation.
