A wise person once said, "Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you." I learned this quote when I was in junior high school. I kept embedding this line into my very soul and existence but somehow something kept on holding me back into applying it every day. I was introvert back then, I thought it was passable to be that way, it was not until I reached 11th grade when I realized I wanted something more than just being someone who everyone knows and wants to be friends with. To put it simply, I want to be known by doing what I love. This was the time when I realized the one thing I lacked to be someone better; self-confidence. I did everything during my senior years to slowly become the best I could be, I joined plays and sometimes audition for the main character in the story until now, I found my purpose, my career, my profession and that's to become a photographer who will capture the moments of people. At this point in my life, i started reminiscing about my junior high school days and I realized I was so different from that meek and bashful boy. For those people who want to be someone in the future, don't be afraid of showing who you are and who you want to become. It's only a matter of time before someone shows up and sees your true and unique potential and ask you to do the things you've never done before, grab it, conceal it, and make it yours!
