📢Get your family members involved in the next We Thrive Webinar about Bridging Generational Gaps in Families.

The webinar will be open to PHINMA Ed community (students, faculty and staff) and their parents/guardians and families.

The “generational gap” can be the cause of frustration, distress, and other difficulties within families. Within a rapidly changing social, economic, and cultural landscape, with such changes accompanied by an influx of information globally through various technological platforms, communicating between generations has become more challenging than ever.

How do we as parents/guardians connect more meaningfully with our children in the context of these differences between generations, and how can these differences become sources of greater perspective, bonding, and insight into our relationships with one-another?

This webinar will discuss what “generation gap” is, how it is expressed in relationships with our children, learn how parents/ guardians can turn these “generational gaps” into opportunities for “generational connection” and generate insights into how parents/ guardians can create generational connections with their children.

Let's all work together to learn how to bridge generational gaps in our families. Join us with Ms. Sweet Remandaban, MA.

While exams are designed to assess knowledge and skills, placing excessive pressure on yourself can backfire, hindering your performance and creating negative consequences.

Therefore, prioritizing self-care and mental well-being during these times is not an indulgence; it's a rational choice for maximizing your academic potential and overall well-being.

Remember, achieving your goals doesn't require sacrificing your mental health.

If you or you know someone who might be mentally and emotionally struggling right now, please don’t hesitate to seek for help. Asking one is not a weakness, but a strength. 🫂

In the quiet corners of the holiday season, where twinkling lights illuminate both joy and introspection, there exists a unique beauty in the presence of holiday blues. Like a gentle winter snowfall, these blues softly blanket the soul, inviting a moment of reflection and self-discovery.

It's the time of year when everything puts on a festive facade, yet even in the warmth of December, there are those who find comfort in the serenity of solitude. In the middle of the chaos, people are navigating the subtleties of their emotions as they dance delicately between the joy of celebration and the contemplative pause. These peaceful times turn into havens, places for introspection and self-care, when one may accept and acknowledge any tinge of sorrow that may accompany the season. It's a fine balance to acknowledge that even in the midst of the Christmas blues, there is space for reflection and recovery and to take solace in the calm that lies underlying the festive turmoil.
