Today is indeed a moment to remember for every Josenian engineering graduate who attended the annual multitude gathering of engineers from different batches as they embarked on another remarkable and indelible experience. Smiles, laughter, and exchanges of warm greetings were apparent among individual participants. The friendships that started long ago continue to endure, and the value of conviviality still remains.

A wave of nostalgia and gleefulness filled the air as the University of San Jose-Recoletos launched its 29th Engineering Alumni Homecoming today at the USJ-R Main Lobby. Numerous engineering graduates congregate together to partake in this momentous event, where they get to rub each other's elbows after a long year of waiting.

FORUM WITH THE RELIGIOUS AND LAY ADMINISTRATORS AND COLLABORATORS

Innovation is resonating in our institution as a meaningful forum took place spearheaded by the USJ-R Alumni Association Inc. together with the Religious and Lay Administrators and other collaborators. The forum convened to harness the collaboration and camaraderie to propel USJ-R to new heights.

University of San Jose-Recoletos and University of Northampton University, UK are official partners in education!

Today, December 4, 2023, marks the beginning of new ventures as the University of San Jose-Recoletos formalized its partnership with the University of Northampton, UK. The said event includes an orientation followed by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Ms. Sonia Pili, the in-country representative of UON, UK, and Rev. Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz, the University President.

The momentous orientation and MOU signing took off with the remarkable opening remarks of Dr. Edgar R. Detoya, CPA from the School of Business and Management. It was then followed by the informative and meaningful discussion of what to anticipate in the outstanding University of Northampton, UK by the In Country Representative, Ms. Sonia Pili.

The event was participated and enjoyed by the SBM students across year levels. Furthermore, the orientation and the signing ceremony was graced by the presence of our Father President, Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz, OAR.

This momentous partnership is the beginning of a new synergy of knowledge and connection, as both institutions pioneered global connection and fostering quality education on a global scale.

| Kent Vincent Alburan, who placed tenth during the March 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, received a laptop and check from the University of San Jose- Recoletos.

These rewards were handed over to him by the Vice President for Academics & Research and OIC Dean of the School of Education after the Mass in honor of the Holy Spirit this morning.

He is a summa cm laude graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. Currently, he is one of the teachers in the USJ-R Senior High School Department.

USJ-R encourages graduates to back-up Google Drive content until July 31 - University of San Jose - Recoletos Josenian graduates have until July 31, 2023 to back-up the files that they stored in their USJ-R email and Google drive accounts. After the said date, the IT Department will deactivate the accounts in order to optimize the University's data storage.

THE SHOW HAS BEGUN!

Students and teachers of the University of San Jose - Recoletos are here at the Fuente Osmeña Circle today for the first ever "Pasko sa Kabatan-onan sa Sugbo".

Aside from showcasing talents from all levels, we will also launch our which we shot in our two campuses and the iconic Freedom Park. This activity also coincides with the OAR Foundation Day.

| Congratulations, new Josenian nurses! 🎉🎉🎉

Too many people feel that having a position of leadership and authority is their God-given right. They feel superior to those in their employ or at so-called lower levels in the organization. I have often seen a certain level of arrogance and entitlement exhibited by people in leadership positions that seek to tear people down instead of lift people up.

Leaders don't strike people down with belittling comments and never intentionally try to place you in an embarrassing or demeaning position. Instead, they show a genuine interest in you personally and professionally by asking, "How are you?" or "How's your family?" while listening and expressing real concern for your situation.

According to Inky Johnson, anybody who has direct contact with people daily that's an opportunity to change someone's life. So don't ever pass up a chance to be of encouragement to other people, don't ever pass up an opportunity to inspire someone because true leadership is all about people and inspiring people to believe that the impossible is possible; when leaders can inspire a group of people to perform beyond their normal limitation, great things will happen.
