𝐕𝐒𝐌𝐌𝐂-𝐏𝐇𝐔 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐍

Dengue is a viral infection transmitted by the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, primarily Aedes aegypti. It presents with symptoms like high fever, severe headaches, joint and muscle pain, and rashes. In severe cases, it can lead to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever or Dengue Shock Syndrome, which require urgent medical attention.

Prevention focuses on eliminating mosquito breeding sites by regularly emptying and cleaning containers that can hold water, using mosquito repellents, wearing protective
clothing, and installing screens on windows and doors.

Early detection and proper hydration are crucial for managing symptoms and preventing complications. Community involvement and public health initiatives, including clean-up campaigns and government-led mosquito control programs, play a vital role in preventing the spread of dengue.

Education and awareness are key to minimizing the impact of this potentially life-threatening disease.
