In celebration of the 122nd Celebracion sa Julio, the 22nd Anniversary as an Archdiocesan Shrine, and the 18th Canonical Coronation Anniversary of the Queen, Mother, and Patroness of Cebu, the holy image of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe de Cebu visited Chong Hua Hospital on June 27, 2024. The heartfelt send-off took place on the morning of June 28, 2024.

Providing Better Health for All Cebuanos

In a shared commitment to improving health access for all Cebuanos, Chong Hua Hospital and Cebu City Hall celebrated a ceremonial turnover of essential equipment for the newly completed Apas Super Family Health Center in Barangay Apas, Cebu City on June 27, 2024.

The event was led by Cebu City Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, alongside Chairman of the Board of Asociacion Benevola de Cebu (ABDCI), Mr. Benito Gaisano, and Chong Hua Hospital leaders, including President & CEO Dr. Helen Po, COO Dr. Joanne Cosin, and Medical Director Dr. Cesar Quiza.

Also in attendance were Acting City Administrator Atty. Kristine Batucan, Cebu City Health Department Head Dr. Daisy Villa, Assistant Department Head Dr. Jeffrey Ibones, Apas Super Family Health Center Head Dr. Grace Valdez, and other leaders from Chong Hua Hospital.

In celebration of the 50th Nutrition Month, the Food and Nutrition Services is conducting a series of Wellness Lectures. Come join us as we showcase different lectures, cooking demos, and activities starting this June 28, 2024, at 5 pm- 7pm at Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue Wellness Center. Registration starts at 150 pesos per session.

In observance of World Environment Month, Chong Hua Hospital joined the CCENRO 16th Cebu City Wide Cleanup Challenge and the DENR-EMB7’s Adopt-An-Estero / Water Body Program on June 22, 2024. Chong Hua Hospital employees teamed up with DENR-EMB7 and volunteers from Brgy. Capitol Site to contribute to this significant environmental endeavor.
