"ANNOUNCEMENT: This coming Monday December 14, 2015 A Nationwide Transport Strike will happened in lieu of the new LTFRB ruling about phasing out of PUV after 15 years of service. This has been organized by PISTON and to be carried out in Cebu by its provincial counterpart Piston - Cebu. It will start from 8:00 am to 3:00pm. It is advised that our commuters must be extra early this monday in order for them not to be late or miss out their appointments within the day. The cities of Lapu - Lapu, Mandaue and Cebu has not yet advised of any transport alternatives but it is expected that they will roll out several public vehicles for the stranded commuters. The effects of this strike could have been minimal if our Metropolis has an efficient mass transportation system. Please be advised.
