"Doctor Who" is a long-running British science fiction television series that first aired in 1963. The show revolves around the adventures of the Doctor, a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who travels through time and space in a ship called the TARDIS, which looks like a blue police box. The Doctor is able to regenerate into a new body when he is close to death, allowing for multiple actors to play the role over the years.

Here's a brief history of each Doctor Who:

1st Doctor (William Hartnell, 1963-1966): The first Doctor was an elderly and cantankerous man who traveled with his granddaughter Susan and two of her schoolteachers, Ian and Barbara. He was known for his strict adherence to the rules of time travel and his paternal relationship with his companions.

2nd Doctor (Patrick Troughton, 1966-1969): The second Doctor was a more whimsical and playful figure, who often used his quick wit and cunning to outsmart his enemies. He traveled with companions Jamie and Victoria, and later with Zoe.

3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee, 1970-1974): The third Doctor was exiled to Earth by his own people and was forced to work with UNIT, a military organization tasked with defending Earth from extraterrestrial threats. He was known for his love of gadgets and his martial arts skills.

4th Doctor (Tom Baker, 1974-1981): The fourth Doctor was the longest-serving Doctor and was known for his curly hair, long scarf, and quirky personality. He traveled with companions Sarah Jane Smith, Leela, K-9, and Romana.

5th Doctor (Peter Davison, 1982-1984): The fifth Doctor was a more vulnerable and human Doctor, who often questioned his own abilities and struggled with the weight of his responsibilities. He traveled with companions Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan.

6th Doctor (Colin Baker, 1984-1986): The sixth Doctor was a more abrasive and confrontational figure, who often clashed with his companions and the people he encountered. He traveled with companion Peri.

7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy, 1987-1989, 1996): The seventh Doctor was a more mysterious and enigmatic figure, who often manipulated events from behind the scenes. He traveled with companion Ace.

8th Doctor (Paul McGann, 1996): The eighth Doctor only appeared in a single TV movie, but has since appeared in audio dramas and novels. He was more romantic and passionate than his predecessors, and was known for his love of adventure.

9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston, 2005): The ninth Doctor was the first Doctor of the revived series, and was a more haunted and tortured figure, still dealing with the trauma of the Time War. He traveled with companions Rose Tyler and Captain Jack Harkness.

10th Doctor (David Tennant, 2005-2010): The tenth Doctor was a more charismatic and flamboyant figure, who was known for his catchphrase "Allons-y!" He traveled with companions Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, and Donna Noble.

11th Doctor (Matt Smith, 2010-2013): The eleventh Doctor was a more energetic and childlike figure, who often acted like an old man in a young man's body. He traveled with companions Amy Pond, Rory Williams, and Clara Oswald.

12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi, 2013-2017): The twelfth Doctor was a more gruff and serious figure, who was known for his love of playing the electric guitar. He traveled with companions Clara Oswald and Bill Potts.

13th Doctor (Jodie Whittaker, 2017-present): The thirteenth Doctor is the current incarnation of the character and the first female Doctor. She is a more empathetic and compassionate figure, who is always eager to help those in need. She travels with companions Ryan, Yaz, and Graham.

Each Doctor has had their own unique personality, fashion style, and companion(s), making "Doctor Who" one of the most beloved and enduring science fiction franchises in the world. The show has also featured numerous enemies and allies, including the Daleks, Cybermen, The Master, and the Time Lords, and has explored themes of time travel, regeneration, and the nature of identity.
