d by the innovations and the projects of the Philippine Pharmacists Association, aspired to create a portal where our patients, our consumers can ask about their health and their medicines. Collaborations between PPhA, YPG, BOP, PACOP and other pharmacy-related organizations and sub groups have resulted to creating and implementing policies and programs addressing and also improving the image and the competencies of our pharmacy students and health professionals. This is done primarily to improve health outcomes and develop better health systems shifting our practice from a product-centered approach to a patient-oriented one and hopefully in the near future, a public health-centered pharmacy practice where there will be an equitable access to pharmaceutical care. We need to engage our patients in co-managing their health. We need to provide them information they can understand and access easily. We need to guide them each step of the way to a better health towards a better future. With these, I introduce to you askyourpharmacist.com.ph, a health promotion tool using technological means, a web portal, an email client, a Facebook fan page and a twitter account. We initiated a project where people can ask questions related to their health and their medicines. People can go to our website, our Facebook fan-page or they may just tweet us their questions. We have a small group of pharmacist volunteers and advocates to answer these questions within 24 to 48 hours. We will also release health articles and info-graphics in a monthly basis in line with the health promotion topics set by the Department of Health and the World Health Organization. We now need your help for this advocacy to go viral. Let us not keep this advocacy within our field. We as pharmacists are already masters of medicines and of health. We need to let the community know that we as public health pharmacists are responsive to each and every health need
