Sa isang kapana-panabik na pangyayari sa pagkuha ng wildlife TV show na *Expedition Bigfoot*, natuklasan ang isang bagong uri ng higanteng ahas sa luntiang kagubatan ng Papua New Guinea. Nang gumagala ang grupo sa makapal na gubat, natagpuan nila ang ahas na tinawag nilang *Titanoboa* species.

Si Dr. Bryan Fry, isang kilalang eksperto sa mga reptile na kasama sa ekspedisyon, ay namangha sa laki at kakaibang katangian ng bagong natuklasang ahas. Ang uri na ito ay pinaniniwalaang kamag-anak ng sinaunang *Titanoboa cerrejonensis*, isang prehistorikong higanteng ahas na nabuhay mga 60 milyong taon na ang nakalipas.

Ang natuklasan ay isang mahalagang sandali para sa pag-aaral ng mga reptile, na nagbibigay ng bagong kaalaman tungkol sa mayamang biodiversity ng kagubatan ng Papua New Guinea. Nakunan sa camera ang kapanapanabik na pagkatuklas, na ipapakita sa paparating na season ng show.

Ang bagong *Titanoboa* species ay posibleng umunlad sa isolated na kapaligiran ng kagubatan, na nagbigay sa kanya ng malaking sukat at natatanging katangian. Excited ang mga mananaliksik na mas matutunan pa ang papel ng species sa ecosystem at ang kanilang kasaysayan ng ebolusyon.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) empowered over 300 micro-establishment owners in Tarlac with knowledge on labor laws and safety practices. The comprehensive training covered General Labor Standards, Basic Occupational Safety and Health, and Workplace Emergency Preparedness.
This initiative equips micro-entrepreneurs with the tools to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for their employees. Additionally, beneficiaries of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program received certificates of eligibility, paving the way for further livelihood assistance.
