A PILLAR OF BFP MODERNIZATION, GONE TOO SOON

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fire Chief Superintendent Vonrad Fernando Benemerito Dobluis, Director for Logistics of the Bureau of Fire Protection, who was declared DOA this morning, May 19, 2024.

Chief Superintendent Dobluis was urgently transported to the University of the Philippines clinic after collapsing during a morning jog at the UP vicinity around 7:30 AM. Despite all efforts to revive him, he tragically passed away.

The BFP grieves deeply for the unexpected loss of one of our most distinguished and dedicated officers: a seasoned legal officer, former regional director, logistics specialist, father, and worshipful brother. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
