Today, our dedicated school maintenance team conducted a comprehensive dengue fogging activity across the ConCS campus as part of its commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, and staff. This proactive measure is part of our ongoing efforts to protect our community from mosquito-borne diseases, especially during this rainy season.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the LGU Concepcion for generously lending us their fogging machine. Thank you for your support in maintaining the safety and well-being of our school community.

Earlier this day, Concepcion Catholic School, Inc. conducted an orientation on Student Services aimed to inform students with the services available and to ensure they know who to approach for assistance in such services. It was facilitated by each office representative: Mr. Enrico Tiglao from the School Registrar ensuring school records and requirements are in order, Ms. Arlene Garcia from the Office of the Prefect of Behavior, dedicated to maintaining a positive and respectful school environment. Ms. Cesmari Beri, our Guidance Associate who provided information on support and counseling for students' emotional and academic needs. Ms. Bea Pangilinan from the Accounting Office who discussed about financial inquiries, and Mr. Mark Dave Vidad, our Library-in-Charge who discussed about the services offered by the School Library.
Each offices comprehensively discussed about their services offered and how students can access them creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated facilitators and enthusiastic students for making this event a success. Together, we can create a vibrant and nurturing school community!

PARENTS' ORIENTATION 2024 | July 19, 2024
The Concepcion Catholic School, Inc. welcomed the parents and guardians through Parent Orientation held at the ConCS covered court. Parents and guardians from Elementary to Senior High School attendees gathered to gain valuable insights into the upcoming school year.
The program began with a heartfelt opening prayer led by Mr. Wesley Tacadino. Following this, our School Administrator, Sr. Lorna I. Ablog, OP delivered an inspiring opening remarks emphasizing the importance of community and collaboration in our educational journey.
Our dedicated school principal, Mr. Barnie Cunanan, kicked off the event by outlining key topics such as the curriculum, class schedules, school activities and programs, students' recollection and retreats, school rules, and financial obligations.
The orientation continued with our Academic Coordinators, Ms. Julieta Tiglao, Mr. Limuel Tiglao, Ms. Luisa S. Vergara, an Ms. Ma. Victoria G. Cunanan who provided an in-depth look into our assessment process and grading system ensuring parents and guardians are well-informed about how their children’s progress will be evaluated throughout the school year.
We also had the pleasure of hearing from various student services representatives, Mr. Enrico Tiglao from the School Registrar’s Office, Ms. Cesmari Beri, our Guidance Associate, Mr. Arlene Garcia from the Office of the Prefect of Behavior, Ms. Julie Ann Ocampo from Library Services, and Mr. Danilo Muñoz, our Safety Officer. Each representative detailed the vital services and support systems available to our students, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and academically enriching environment.
After these informative discussions, parents and guardians had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications fostering an open dialogue and a stronger partnership between them and the school.
This activity strengthened our school community that promotes transparency and ensures that everyone is aligned with the school’s mission and goals.

School-Based INSET 2024 | Day 3 Highlights 📖
Day 3 of our School-Based In-Service Training 2024 was a day of profound learning and collaboration. The session was divided into three engaging parts tailored for each department ensuring a targeted and impactful experience for all.
📍Mr. Aljohn Cunanan and Ms. Crizzel Angel Mercado from the Elementary Department led an insightful session on the MATATAG Curriculum and Instructional Plan aiming for innovative strategies and enhance instructional methods.
📍Meanwhile, the Junior High School department kicked off the session with a comprehensive guide on Preparing a Standard-Based Curriculum Map: From Streamlining to Unpacking and Alignment facilitated by Ms. Winnie Carreon. Following this, Ms. Jossel Lumba shared her expertise on Combining MATATAG Learning Competencies through the Curriculum Map, providing valuable insights on integrating key competencies based on the MATATAG curriculum. Finally, Mr. Danilo Muñoz presented on Designing Standard-Based Unit Learning Plans, equipping the teachers with practical strategies and techniques for effective curriculum design.
📍Sessions from the Senior High School department were also equally enriching starting with Mr. Aron Tolentino's presentation on Teaching SHS Core Subjects based on the Science of Learning focusing on the Alignment Framework. Mr. Jay Mar Nicavera then discussed the Flexible Instructional Delivery Plan, offering innovative approaches to adapt teaching methods. Concluding the SHS session was the discussion on the Adaptive Teaching Guide by Mr. Gerald Gutierrez emphasizing the importance of flexible and responsive teaching strategies.
📍Another significant highlight of the day was the Catechism session for our newly hired teachers facilitated by Sr. Nedie Capatan, OP aimed to integrate the spiritual dimension into teaching vocation. It provided an invaluable opportunity for our newly hired teachers to align with the school's core values and mission.
The active involvement of the ConCS faculty in this Three-Day School-Based INSET was pivotal. Thank you to all the facilitators and participants for making this INSET a meaningful experience for all.

Day 2 of our School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) 2024 was an enriching experience packed with valuable insights and engaging sessions. Our dedicated ConCS faculty members participated enthusiastically, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Here’s a recap of today's session:
📌 Mr. Barnie G. Cunanan (School Principal) provided a comprehensive overview of the PPST framework, emphasizing its role in enhancing teaching quality and student learning outcomes. Mr. Cunanan's insights on effective instructional planning were particularly beneficial, offering practical strategies for curriculum design and implementation.
📌 Session on classroom management
was facilitated by Ms. Ma. Victoria G. Cunanan (Senior High School Focal Person) that delved into the essentials of creating a conducive learning environment. Ms. Cunanan shared innovative techniques for maintaining discipline, fostering student engagement, and addressing classroom challenges, which are crucial for effective teaching.
📌 From the Office of the Prefect of Behavior, Ms. Arlene Garcia led an informative discussion on our school’s rules and regulations based on the Student Handbook. This orientation ensured that all faculty members are well-informed in our policies especially with student discipline promoting a safe and orderly school environment.
📌 Ms. Cesmari P. Beri (Guidance Associate) presented an eye-opening session on mental health awareness. The session titled “Padayon” (which means “to continue” in Filipino) emphasized the importance of mental well-being for both teachers and students. Ms. Beri’s compassionate approach and valuable advice on managing stress and fostering a supportive environment reflected deeply with everyone.
We thank our esteemed facilitators for their dedication and expertise and kudos to the ConCS faculty for their eagerness to learn and grow.

The School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) kicked off today, July 16, 2024. The newly hired teachers of Concepcion Catholic School, Inc. came together for a day of learning and growth under the theme "Empowered Educators: Adapting to Educational Transformations" aimed to equip our teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively navigate and implement educational transformations ensuring that they are well-prepared to foster an environment of continuous improvement and excellence in the field.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our outstanding facilitators: Ms. Julieta P. Tiglao for her insightful discussion on Assessment, Mr. Limuel Tiglao for his detailed explanation of the Table of Specifications (TOS). Ms. Luisa S. Vergara for her comprehensive overview of the Grading System, Ms. Christal Galle S. Aguas and Ms. Noellyn L. Salazar for their expert guidance on Designing Performance Tasks and Rubrics.
As we wrap up Day 1, we look forward to continuing this journey of growth and empowerment and ready to implement the insights gained and inspire our students to achieve their fullest potential.

From July 1-11, 2024, our Kindergarten to Grade 3 pupils engaged on enriching educational adventure focusing on Reading and Mathematics courses. Over these two weeks, our dedicated Elementary teachers worked hand in hand to create a vibrant, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Each day was filled with fun and interactive activities.
We are immensely proud of the progress and enthusiasm shown by our pupils during this tutorial. A heartfelt gratitude is also given to our dedicated teachers and parents for their unwavering support. Together, let us continue to build a strong foundation for our children's future.
On this blessed day, July 10, 2024, the Tarlac Diocesan Schools Association (TDSA) conducted the induction of Catholic teachers at the San Sebastian Cathedral Church, Tarlac City. This significant event was graced by the presence of our esteemed mass celebrants Rev. Fr. O'Neal Sanchez and Rev. Fr. Mario Elias. It aimed to inform everyone of the sacred duty bestowed upon teachers in a Catholic institution.
Following the mass, Rev. Fr. Mario Elias led the blessing ceremony, invoking divine grace and wisdom upon the Catholic educators. Each teacher and staff, whether newly inducted or seasoned, received a special blessing, symbolizing their commitment to uphold the Catholic teachings and to foster a nurturing environment that encourages both academic excellence and spiritual growth.
The induction ceremony is more than just a formality, rather is a reaffirmation of our dedication to the mission of Catholic education.
