China-made e-cigarette chargers can infect your PC.

Look out: the e-cigarette charger from China may look harmless, but it can potentially do harm to your computer—and your data.
Security vendor Bitdefender researcher Lucian Ciolacu cited a Reddit post indicating the charger contained malware and could infect a PC connected via USB.
“The made in China e-cigarette had malware hardcoded into the charger, and when plugged into a computer’s USB port the malware phoned home and infected the system,” Ciolacu said, citing the Reddit post.
He said the Reddit post narrated the case of one executive who had a malware infection on his computer and could not quite determine the source.
When the IT team ruled out various options, it asked the executive about recent changes in lifestyle and found he had switched to e-cigarettes.
Ciolacu advised "va**rs" never to plug their USB e-cigarette chargers in their computers, and instead use conventional plug chargers with a USB socket.
