Effective tomorrow, September 8, 2024, the Muslim Prayer Room located at the Technical Building, between the JHS and CEnCS, will no longer be accessible. This is due to the Groundbreaking Ceremony tomorrow and the scheduled demolition of the building next week.

Muslim students can still perform their prayers at the Nepomuceno MPR. We also encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to use any nearby available rooms for worship in the meantime. If you have personal items left in the MPR Men and Women’s area, please reach out to the following contacts for immediate retrieval:

In 1982, Tableegh Al-Resalah Organization was founded by Ustadz Samsudin Blah and was the first ever islamic organization established in Notre Dame University
It is a pioneer Muslim youth organization in NDU that serves as an instrument of spreading the teachings of islam among the youth through DA'WAH.
Main Objective of the Organization is "To Convey the Message of Islam through Da'wah” To enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.

JUST IN | We would like to inform you that the crescent moon marking the start of the holy month of Ramadan has not been sighted tonight. Therefore, the first day of Ramadan will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

We understand that the sighting of the moon is a significant event for all of us, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. We encourage everyone observing Ramadan to use this time to spiritually prepare for the month of Ramadhan and to use the coming days to reflect on the importance of this special time.

A month full of blessings and Rahma, a month where all of our deeds are rewarded in multiple, and the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of fire are closed and the Shaytān are put in shackles.

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet said to his Companions,
“There has come to you the month of Ramadan, which Allaah has enjoined you to fast. In this month, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hellfire are closed. The devils are chained in this month, and there is a night in it which is better than a thousand months of worship: whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.”

Narrated by Ahmad, 9213; al-Nasaa’i, 2106. classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i, 1992.

“Indeed, Allah (S.W.T) the Exalted is the Giver, He love generosity and noble manners, He detest bad manners.” (Narrated by Al Baihaqi, classed sahih by Al Albani in ‘Shahihul Jami’, 1744)

Sadaqa (providing charity/alms) is one of the opportunities that Allah (S.W.T) has provided for His slaves to take advantage of significant blessings throughout the month of Ramadhan. Islam always advises its followers to donate generously, particularly during Ramadhan. And that is supposed to be the way of believers: "Generous". Allah (S.W.T) and His Prophet PBUH commanded, and even exemplified, generosity and openness among Muslims. Know that charity is one of Allah (S.W.T) the Exalted's attributes, as revealed in this hadith.

As the lovely month of Ramadhan approaches, our goal as Tableegh Al-Resalah Organization (TRO) is offering such as free Iftar. We sincerely encourage each of you to donate regardless of the amount you are able to in order to help with the expected activities to make ends meet throughout this holy month.

Better is the end of the thing than the beginning. Mubàrak dear Graduates! This is the moment you've been waiting for. All of your efforts and struggles to achieve your corresponding degrees have been finally paid off. Through discipline and hard work, you've graduated under the guidance of Allah (S.W.T.)

To the amazing parents and to the people who showed such unwavering support, encouragement, and love to these amazing graduates, shukran.

Thabit ibn al-Hajjaj reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said,

حَاسِبُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَاسَبُوا
“𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚

وَزِنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوزَنُوا
𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙,
