The work centers on the creation of the Four Legacies, which are revolutionizing the fight for children's rights: the Local Development Plan for Children (LDPC), the Local Investment Plan for Children (LIPC), the Local Code for Children (LCC), and the Local State of the Children's Report (LSCR). Ensuring that the legacies serve as a practical and realistic tool for hearing the voices of underprivileged children.
Other than that, the workshop aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the PCPC members from different provinces in providing technical assistance for mainstreaming and localizing the RPAC through legacies. Also, via productive discussion, the PCPC members are enlightened and equipped to identify strategies and plans, and effectively implement and advocate best practices to address the unique needs of children.
All things considered, the roll-out was successful, culminating in a well-defined action plan and a mutual dedication to tackling child deprivation. It is anticipated that all local council member agencies would work together to promote and uphold each child's rights and provide excellent services that enhance the community's health and well-being. All this success was supported by UNICEF, the Korean government, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Other attendees: Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) and its members: MSSD, MOLE, MILG, and other agencies.
