TWO, CENTURY-OLD IMAGES MEET | LOOK: The Centuries-Old Original Image of Santa Rosa de Lima de Daanbantayan, and the Centuries-Old Image of Our Lady of the Abandoned, Meets in Barangay Logon.

The Images of Santa Rosa de Lima and the Virgen de Los Desamparados is part of the "Triumvirate of Daanbantayan", or the 3, Century-Old Images of Daanbantayan. (The Third Image is San Antonio de Padua in Calape)

The 1-Foot Tall Images of Santa Rosa, San Antonio and the Blessed Virgin of the Abandoned are Said to Be Very Miraculous each with Different Stories.

The Image of Santa Rosa de Lima was Found in Brgy. Tinubdan as a Large Tree Trunk already having the Perfect Details that we see on the Image today.

The Image of San Antonio was found and taken care of by a Family in Calape 101 years ago and has done many Confirmed Healings Testimonies.

and the Image of the Blessed Virgin Mary was found by two Children and their Grandfather on their Salt Farm in Malapascua Island in a pile of Driftwood. As their grandfather (a salt farmer) Tried to get rid of the Wood from their salt farm, It would always somehow Appear again on that same salt farm. They tried to get rid of it on four different attempts. As Time went on, the Driftwood pile revealed an Image of the Blessed Virgin with no hands, and has been Reportedly been Growing ever since.

Throughout the Years, The Image of the Blessed Virgin, Santa Rosa de Lima, and San Antonio de Padua have done many Wonders and Miracles in the Municipality of Daanbantayan.

Hello brethrens! We are inviting you all to join us with our Devotion to the Divine Mercy (Chaplet of the Divine Mercy) together with the Virgen De los Desamparados Parish Youth Coordinating Council, saturday 7pm at VDP Church. Please bring Rosary. God be with us! See you! ❤

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council invites our parishioners, especially the youth to join us on a Taizé Prayer to be held inside our church this | Saturday | April 22, 2023 | 7:00PM.

WHAT IS A TAIZE PAYER?
A Taizé Prayer is an evening prayer for all Christian faiths. It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ's presence around and within us. Mantra songs, prayerful silence, and short readings guide the focus of the prayer in a candle-lit environment.

THE GOOD SHEPHERD | Like Saint Martin, sa iyang kaugalingon. Because of the generosity of the Good Shepherd, he continued to become a sharer of blessings to others. Bisan sa iyang mga kabalaka ug kahadlok, wala niya hunongi iyang kaugalongon sa pagpadayon sa pangalagad ug sa pag pangambit. Even though he is unworthy, he continued to share and be of service to others because he believed, once he got lost, the Shepherd was able to find him.
