Samar: Awakening
Of A Sleeping Giant!

We're ready to work on the planned Samar Island Development to achieve the full potentials in food production of the country's 3rd largest island.

Before the day ends, I will post a link to a Digital Registry System which would accept volunteers to the group which I am organizing, the Samar Island Development Advocates (SIDA).

The volunteers must preferably be Samareños, although well-meaning individuals who would like to support me in this advocacy would be welcomed.

The first 200 Registrants will serve as the core and pioneering members of a Non-Stock, Non-Profit Foundation which will be focused on developing Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry potentials of the island which would open income generation and job opportunities.

I will personally head the SIDA and initially assume the power to identify the interim members of the Foundations' Board of Volunteers.

When the BoV is filled up, the SIDA will be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Non-Stock and Non-Profit Foundation.

For those who are curious to know why I am leading the SIDA, please understand that I had made a promise when I was Secretary of Agriculture that I would work on the development of the rich island and to see this through even if I am out of government.
