We hope that everyone is safe and dry. The organizing team decided to push through with the Disco Party tonight,rain or shine. The said event will be held at the covered court from 7:00 pm onwards.

GET READY FOR FOR THIS COMING DECEMBER 26,2022 as we open the 50th Araw ng Liyang celebration.

MECHANICS and GUIDELINES

📌The participants are open to all amateur and professional singers ages 15 yrs old and above.
📌The contestant must be lumad or resident here in our barangay Liyang.
📌Changing of participants shall no longer be allowed after the registration period.
📌Each contestant must PREPARED TWO (2) of their chosen song for this competition.
📌The song shall have minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes duration.
📌Deadline for Submission of entries – on or before December 28, 2022. Registration in- charged June Mark Colata.

Round 1
🔹All Participants will sing their song choice in any language; song must be maximum of 5 minutes.

Final Round
🔹3 Top Solo will be chosen based on previous round scores and panel deliberation to proceed to the final round and sing their final song in any language and in full duration to compete for the 1st place, 2nd place and Champion title.

The criteria for judging shall be as follow:

1. VOCAL (50%)
Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation
Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music

2. EXPRESSION (30%)
Performance – How well the performer is able to express the meaning and mood of the song

3. SHOWMANSHIP (20%)
Show Design – Music Selection, Effective use of Stage and Performance Area, Outfit and style
Entertainment Value – The audience’s and judges’ reaction to the overall performance

MECHANICS and GUIDELINES

1. The competition is open to all constituents of barangay Liyang.
2. EACH PUROK must have 1 entry for the competition.
3. Each group will have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 members.
4.Each group will perform to any dance music with a maximum time limit of 5 minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted from the
group’s total score.
5.The members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any combination thereof.
6.The dance number must have the accompaniment of a modern, hiphop, and lively music.
7. Folk dances or accompaniment of folk music is not allowed.
8. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke or combustible materials as props are not allowed.
9. Paid choreographer is strictly prohibited.
10. Any team proven in violation of the rules & regulations will be automatically disqualified from the event.
11. Decision of judges is final and non-appealable

CRITERIA
a. Choreography (creativity, style & originality) 50%
b. Ex*****on (timing, coordination & projection) 30%
c. Costume 10%
d. Over-all Impact 10%
