Catechism:

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a holy day that commemorates the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken up body and soul into heaven at the end of her earthly life. This event reminds us of the hope and promise of eternal life with God.

As we prepare for the upcoming celebration of the Feast of St. James the Greater Parish, please be advised of the following important dates:

As the upcoming academic year begins. The entire RMIDCI community, together with the Campus Ministry family, would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our departing chaplain, Rev. Fr. Ronald Balugo for his commitment to serving our school and community, as well as for his assistance over the past five years with the Campus Ministry. His unwavering commitment to his profession has had a profound effect on our spiritual goals. For all of us, his years with us have been a true blessing.

As we firmly say goodbye to you, Fr. Balugo, we also like to send our warmest regards to Rev. Fr. Khim Caermare, the new school chaplain. We are excited to work under his guidance to deepen our faith. We request that may God's grace continue to surround both priests as they carry out their mission and may Fr. Khim be guided by the Lord to the fullest extent of his abilities.

We are saddened by the death of our former Filipino high school teacher, Mr. Lonie Paglalunan Labisig (2011-2021), who passed away yesterday (July 3, 2024).

The first novena will start on July 5, 2024 - Purok Bombil, Guimputlan, Dapitan City.

℟. And let perpetual light shine upon him.

We are delighted to inform you that our school has scheduled an Academic Break from March 25th to March 30th, 2024, encompassing all levels from elementary to tertiary education.

This break aligns with the holy week, providing an opportunity for all members of our academic community to unwind, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. We encourage everyone to utilize this time for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Regular classes will resume on April 1st, 2024.
