Our sincerest gratitude to the Division monitoring team, Dr. Jessie Layugan, and Mr. Angelo Uy for your encouraging words and dedication in guiding our school in the conduct of Special Education Program and Services for Learners with Disabilities.

DISCOVERING SCHOOL HEROES: BLESSINGS KEEP POURING IN

We are grateful to National University - Dasmariñas School of Business, Management and Accounrancy, headed by Mr. Orlando D. Manalang - Program Chair of Accountancy;
Ms. Melita S. Soriano - Program Chair of Management Accounting;
and Ms. Josephine B. Moradoz - Program Chair of Business Administration conducted a seminar to our ABM students with Mr. Manalang as our Resource Speaker. The students got a refresher about "Accounting 101." They were happy and learned a lot about it.

Then, we greatly appreciate the donation of five 12-digits calculators and eighteen scientific calculators to our school. It was duly received by the school's representatives. Glenn Vincent C. Rodil, Adopt-a-School Program Coordinator and Mr.Edmar P. Corullo, ABM Class adviser & Mathematics Teacher. This will be the learner's helpful tool in conducting calcluations during Mathematics or ABM subjects. Again, thank you NU Dasma for this early gift to our learners.

FROM SOON TO FINALLY: RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY OF NESHS’ SCHOOL CANTEEN

Through the initiatives of Mr. Glenn Vincent Rodil (ASP Coordinator) and Ms. Sheela Anne Maraan (L&D Coordinator), NESHS was able to establish a partnership with Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas along with Mr. Roland I. Bayalan (Director, Transnational Education and Extension Program). Through this partnership, finally, the construction of NESHS’ school canteen came into life and was officially opened today, May 09, 2024. This was attended by all internal and external stakeholders and was graced by Dr. Gallileo L. Go (Asst. Schools Division Superintendent of SDO Dasma), representatives from Brgy. New Era, Brgy. Captain of Barangay Sampaloc II, Hon. Virginia S. Campano, and presidents of SGC, SPTA, TEO, and SSLG. On the same day, the signing of deed of donation, and MOA was also made possible.

Indeed, New Era Senior High School under the supervision of its School Head, Mr. Vicente D. Revota, and the whole school community are grateful to the generosity of PCU- Dasmariñas! Thank you PCU- Dasmariñas! Your support is instrumental and would have a lasting impact on our students. Thank you for providing us with a comfortable and decent facility to enjoy our break times.

Based on the report of the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) on the level of heat index in our City, Asynchronous Classes or Distance Learning shall be implemented from May 02-03 (Thursday-Friday).

𝐏𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠. 𝐏𝐢𝐝𝐢 | The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas mourns the demise of our beloved Cong. Pidi Barzaga who has made Dasmariñas a very progressive and a conducive City to live in. As we extend our sympathy to his bereaved family, we celebrate the purpose-filled life he lived and the invaluable contributions he has given to the education sector of the City, which will forever be enshrined as his legacy for all Dasmarineños:

- Established the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas in 2010 and the construction and furnishing of the CSDO Building
- Institutionalized and operationalized Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School, Salawag National High School, and Edilberto S. Legaspi Integrated High School
- Provided learning resources and constructed infrastructures and facilities in schools for an enhanced learning experience
- Digitized the curriculum delivery through the provisions of smart boards among schools and computer tablets to primary learners, G10, and G12 students
- Provided laptops for an improved supervisory practice and upgraded the information and technology of the Division Office by providing network infrastructure, servers, server rack, UPS, and generator set benefiting both public and private schools
- Upgraded School ICT programs by providing computer units and other devices
- Redefined delivery of school services by providing internet connection in schools’ administrative offices
- Strengthened youth development programs encompassing from the strong sports program, journalism program, scouting, and extracurricular programs for both public and private schools that made the Division a force to reckon with in, athletic meets, RSPC and NSPC, festival of talents
- Championed special education by ensuring that learners with special needs are given free neuro developmental assessment and interactive classes through the manipulative devices for learning
- Mainstreamed the diverse talents of teachers by providing enormous support to Dasmarinas City Teachers Chorale and by conceptualizing the Banyuhayani Dance Troupe
- Advocated the strong cultural values among young Dasmarineños in institutionalizing the annual City celebration of Buwan ng Wika and the monthly City Cultural Dance Competition
- Founded Gawad Karangalan ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas that annually recognizes exceptional graduates and inspires thousands of learners from both public and private schools to pursue their dreams

These are just a few of the many programs that Cong. Pidi has shared that made a big impact on the lives of young Dasmarineños.

Cong. Pidi, you will always have a space in the hearts of the Dasmarineños whom you deeply loved.

Surely, you will always be a part of every success that our learners reap in the future.

You have touched countless lives and inspired countless dreams.

Please stay connected with your teachers, and classmates. Visit your group chat with your respective subjects on Monday and Tuesday for more specific instructions. Expect that learning still continues despite no face-to-face classes.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cavite 4th District Representative Elpidio "Pidi" F. Barzaga Jr., in California, USA, Saturday afternoon (Philippine Time). He was 74.

Throughout his life, Cong. Pidi dedicated himself to serving the people of the Province of Cavite and the City of Dasmariñas with unwavering commitment and passion.

His dedication to education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation transformed lives and shaped the future of his constituents. He will be remembered for his compassion and relentless pursuit of justice.

Cong. Pidi is survived by his loving wife, Dasmariñas City Mayor Jenny Barzaga, and his devoted sons BM Kiko, Third, and Enzo.

As we mourn his loss, we find solace in the countless lives he touched and the enduring impact of his work. We humbly ask for your prayers and support during this difficult time.

Due to extreme heat condition, face-to-face classes from April 25 (Thursday) to April 26 (Friday) are shifted to Modular Distance Learning (MDL).

Based on the report of the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) on the level of heat index in our City, face-to-face classes in ALL LEVELS (Public and Private) are SUSPENDED from April 25 (Thursday) to April 26 (Friday).

Today, April 17, 2024, the 3rd Parent-Teacher Conference was held at New Era Senior High School. Aside from recognizing the learners’ efforts in the previously concluded quarter, and distributing learners’ copy of grades, this assembly also allows the parents and teachers to discuss matters related to the academic, safety, and social and emotional development of the learners.

Thank you dear parents and guardians for your time. Our School Head, Mr. Vicente Revota, and the teachers highly appreciate your presence and support in this kind of assembly. Rest assured that we will continuously serve quality education and promote learners' holistic development. May we also be able to put into life the set of activities and plans that we discussed today!

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.
