In light of the recent inclement weather over the past few days brought about by Typhoon Carina, the College of Allied Sciences Student Council wants to express our concern for all those affected, and formally provide accessible knowledge regarding safety practices and reminders that might prove to be useful during these times.

Firstly, we urge everyone to avoid going out of their houses or buildings as much as possible, especially when flooding is imminent. Floods contain and carry all sorts of unsafe media that when they come in contact or are able to enter the body, could give rise to a multitude of diseases; the most common of which is leptospirosis, which you can read about on the infographic we’ve made for you.

Second, we also want to remind everyone to observe diligence in their homes as the floods continue to subside. We’ve also made a basic list of these things to put into practice, so that you can help yourself or family and friends to stay safe and alert during these weather disturbances.

Again, your safety is of paramount importance to us as we recover from this calamity. We hope everyone is recuperating well and fit to go back to normal, as well as ready and prepared for further instances like this one.

First up is our very own celebration of 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉, where we uplifted and encouraged our students to own their identities and gender expressions. 🌈

Second is our 𝑵𝑺𝑻𝑷 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, where our freshies were able to celebrate the culmination of their NSTP subject together with the rest of the Institution, signifying the successful fostering of Lasallian core values and national zeal throughout their first year of college 🤝🌟

The College of Allied Sciences Student Council regrets to inform you that our upcoming event "ShowCASing Excellence 2024: The College of Allied Sciences Annual Recognition Ceremony", is now unfortunately 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐃 due to the consecutive suspension of classes in relation to Typhoon Carina, as well as the respective adjustments being made to accommodate the Final Examination schedules of our students.

Please be informed that our Food Bazaar, on the other hand, will ensue as promised from July 24 to 26, 2024 by the Lourdes E. Campos MD Building. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused as well as any disappointment from the missed opportunity to celebrate our achievements this Academic Year. Rest assured that we share your sentiments and that we are still thankful for your support and cooperation throughout our preparations over the last few weeks.

Please also be informed that the certificates and plaques for award recipients will be given within the week to your respective Class Presidents, so that they may distribute these at your convenience.
