Last July 27, the highly anticipated largest gathering of psychology and allied professionals in Southern Mindanao came to fruition.

The Cross Theater of Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc. became an arena of intellectual discourse among professionals from Southern Mindanao tackling about the profession and its profound potential in the world of work, personal life, and societal realities.

One of our speakers is a lawyer by profession. She is the owner and head of Tolentino & Associates since December 2021. A dedicated advocate and community leader serving as Auditor/Council Board Member for Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Davao Council (2021-2027), and Charter Corporate Secretary for Bantay Hayop Davao – Animal Watch Philippines (2020-present).

Atty. Tolentino-Fuentes is also Vice-Chairperson at Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights, Inc. and Luna Legal Resource Center for Women and Children, Inc. She is a trustee of UP Mindanao Foundation, Inc., highlighting her commitment to legal advocacy and social welfare.

One of our speakers, Dr. Aquino is a psychologist dedicated to mental well-being in the Philippines. With a PhD in Clinical Psychology focused on improving mental health in older adults, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his roles. Dr. Aquino works as a psychologist, an assistant professor, and the founder of a non-profit mental health platform. His dedication extends to consultancy work, solidifying him as a prominent figure in promoting mental health awareness and services.

| DR. REAGAN JOSEPH T. VILLANUEVA
With around 18 years of experience as a dedicated medical doctor, he currently serves as Chief of Hospital III at the Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Davao. Dr. Villanueva holds prestigious certifications from the Philippine College on Addiction Medicine, achieving Fellow status in 2023 and passing the Diplomate Exam in September 2018. His commitment to addiction medicine underscores his passion for enhancing patient care and community health.

Dr. Villanueva is deeply involved in community efforts, contributing as a member of the Regional Inter-Agency Against Illegal Drug since 2018, and the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council Davao City since 2016. He is also an active member of the Philippine College of Addiction Medicine since 2015, demonstrating his commitment to advancing addiction treatment and community health initiatives.
