NOTICE TO THE VENDORS
GUIDELINES FOR KALAG-KALAG 2023
a. Only vendors with Special Permits from the City Mayor duly issued by the Business Bureau shall be allowed to sell goods from October 30 to November 3 this year, whether within the premises or immediate vicinity of all cemeteries.
b. All vendors and storekeepers must secure their respective Health Certificates/Cards and a Sanitary Permit from the City Health Office (CHO) before selling.
c. Alcoholic beverages, ukay-ukay, and pointy/sharp objects such as knives, scissors, and the like, are prohibited for sale.
d. Cooking food and customer dining on the sidewalk is prohibited to prevent obstruction and endangering pedestrians.
e. Food vendors may only offer customers non-plastic alternatives for spoons, forks, straws, stirrers, cups, and plates.
f. All vendors must segregate trash and provide their trash bag/bin for Biodegradable (Malata), Non-Biodegradable (Dili Malata), and Recyclable (Mapuslan Pa).
g. All vendors shall apply "CLEAN AS YOU GO." and keep their areas clean while obeying the proper waste disposal and garbage collection points determined by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

GUIDELINES FOR KALAG-KALAG 2023
a. Wearing jackets, bringing backpacks, playing loud music or karaoke, gambling, alcoholic drinks, and pointy objects, are strictly prohibited.
b. Staying overnight and bringing pets are strictly prohibited in all cemeteries.
c. Drones are not allowed. Fi****ms are strictly prohibited except those with COMELEC exemptions.
d. Vagrants, loiterers, and scavengers are denied entry in all cemeteries.
e. Do not leave your things unattended otherwise, they will be subjected to security procedures.
f. The visit period to all cemeteries is from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM but there will be a cutoff of entry at 9:00 PM.
g. Pedestrians shall observe the "ONE ENTRANCE POLICY” but vehicles shall follow the "ONE ENTRANCE, ONE EXIT POLICY.”
h. Everyone shall apply "CLEAN AS YOU GO." or "BASURA KO, LINIS KO." While obeying the proper waste disposal and garbage collection points determined by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).
i. Obey traffic rules, routes, designated parking areas, and vehicle prohibitions based on the Traffic Management Plan as published by the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO).
j. Wearing facemasks is highly recommended for the elderly, individuals with co-morbidities, immune-compromised, pregnant, unvaccinated, and symptomatic.
k. Medical tents will be set up at the entrance of all cemeteries to respond to any medical emergencies.
l. Public cemeteries under the City Economic Enterprises (CEE) will not schedule any burial, interment, or cremation from October 30 to November 3 this year, except for cases of immediate burials.
m. Comply with all security instructions, rules, and procedures as imposed by the Safety and Security Cluster of Davao City.

Launching of Training for Work and Study Program Beneficiaries under the TESDA and PNP-DCPO

LOURDES MISSION, SEC.,CAGPTD,Academe Sec., and the PS2 beneficiaries attended the launching of 30 days Electrical Installation initiated by the TESDA in partnership with the Philippine National Police- DCPO to offer knowledge and skills to the 15 beneficiaries within the area of responsibility. Further, this activity aims to strengthen the partnership between the PNP and TESDA and create harmonious relationship within the community.

The said program attended by Brgy. Staff and Functionaries headed by Brgy. Captain Carlos Garcia, First Community Cooperative (FICCO), OJT Criminology Student of St. John Paul College of Davao and Force Multiplier Advocacy Support Group. Further, this activity aims to put happiness to the less fortunate children within the area of responsibility.

Personnel of San Pedro Police Station under the supervision of PMAJ MARVIN C HUGOS, Station Commander conducted information education campaign regarding Security Reminders regarding Anti-terrorism, Bombing and other criminal activities with attached station hotline numbers to the vendors of Bankerohan Public Market, Brgy 5-A, Davao City. Further, remind them to be vigilant and alert at all times and encouraged them to report immediately to the PNP. This is to remind the public for the possible activities of the terrorist for the upcoming Bonifacio and Youth Day.
