𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale would like to express its heartfelt congratulations to the president of the choir, Jessa Mae Salpocial, and Ella Mae Fiel, a former choir member, for winning the gold medal in the vocal duet competition. We also extend our warmest congratulations to Juvybib Cerenio, who was acclaimed for placing second in the vocal solo competition. This event took place at Teachers Camp in Baguio City, Philippines, during PACSA 2024, representing Mindanao.

We take great pride in having brought Holy Cross of Davao College to a national acclaim!

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale of Holy Cross of Davao College received an invitation to perform in the "Harana at Kundiman" as part of the celebration of Araw ng Dabaw on March 3, 2024, at the Davao City Hall. The said choir’s repertoire featured love songs from 1900s to the present making it more relatable and enjoyable to the public.

We are really grateful to the City Government of Davao for having us and letting us showcase our talents to the general audience. Sharing the fruit of our labor is a privilege.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The HCDC’s very own Cross Blazers Chorale and Sinag Culture & Arts Collective, filled the HCDC Gymnasium with harmonious blend of voices and culture during the culmination of National Arts Month, yesterday, February 29, 2024

We are deeply grateful to the almighty God for His continuous sustenance and the abundance of His grace and mercy in our lives. It is through His guidance and blessings that we have been able to reach this momentous occasion.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed institution, the Holy Cross of Davao College, for providing us with a platform to showcase and share our talents with the entire HCDC community. The college's dedication to education and fostering a nurturing environment has played a significant role in shaping us into the individuals we are today.

Furthermore, we would like to express our profound gratitude to our parents, who have been a constant source of unwavering love, support, and encouragement throughout our journey. Their sacrifices, guidance, and belief in us have been instrumental in our accomplishments. We recognize the countless hours they have dedicated to nurturing our growth, and we are forever indebted to them.

On this special occasion, we also want to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of our teachers, mentors, and all the staff members at HCDC. Their dedication, expertise, and passion for education have been invaluable in shaping our minds and nurturing our talents. They have constantly challenged us to excel and have provided us with the tools and knowledge to succeed.

Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to our fellow students, friends, and the entire HCDC community for their support, camaraderie, and friendship. The collective spirit of unity and collaboration has enriched our learning experience and made our time at HCDC truly memorable.

As we reflect on our journey, we acknowledge that this achievement would not have been possible without the combined efforts and support of all these individuals and entities. We are truly humbled and blessed to have such a strong support system. 𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale, in collaboration with Sinag Culture & Arts Collective under the Center for Culture and the Arts of Holy Cross of Davao College, serenaded the delegates of the 25th National Bible Workshop 2024 on its 3rd day at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, leaving the audience in awe as they performed contemporary dances and songs.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale and Sinag Culture & Arts Collective of Holy Cross of Davao College had their first collaboration of the year during the welcome reception for Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA), which was composed of students and faculty members from Indonesia and held, today, January 24, 2024, at the 7th floor, Sedes Sapientae Auditorium.

Today marks as well the first engagement of Cross Blazers Chorale together with Sir Peter Ian C. Buaya as the new conductor.

From the Cross Blazers Chorale, we are looking forward to more events and memories with you, sir! ♥️🤍💙

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale, under the Culture and Arts Office, along with National Service Training Program (NSTP) faculty and students, Chaplain & Campus Ministry Office (CCMO), Institutional Quality Audit Office (IQAO), School of Teachers Education (STE) and Social Action Office (SAC), who spearheads this activity, with other employees, and faculty members of Holy Cross of Davao College, began to share the spirit of the season with the community by serving as liturgical ministers at San Miguel Parish, Marahan, on the 5th day of Misa de Gallo, followed by a Christmas Serenade at the Bishop's Palace and Sta. Ana Shrine Parish held on December 20, 2023. 🎄

This is in line with our commitment to community service and spreading the love of God thru music.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale is very honored as Sir Christopher G. Borela, the former assistant choirmaster of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, held a mentoring session for the upcoming recital of Sir Peter Ian C. Buaya. We, the Cross Blazers Chorale, are beyond grateful for his time sharing with us his knowledge of choral singing. We are looking forward to more sessions with you, Sir Chris.

Catch the Voices of the South Children's Choir, the University of Mindanao Chorale Alumni, the Davao City Chorale, and the Holy Cross of Davao College's very own Cross Blazers Chorale on October 8 at 7F, Sedes Sapientiae Auditorium, on Sir Peter Buaya's recital entitled “Beyond the Waves” 🎙️

As Voices Of The South, as the laboratory choir, Davao City Chorale, UM Chorale Alumni and Cross Blazers Chorale will also render songs/masterpieces that are beautifully prepared by Sir Peter Ian Buaya as part of his final requirements for his course, Master in Music Performance Major in Choral Conducting.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale of Holy Cross of Davao College during the 15th Philippine Book, Information Science and Technology (DACUN PHIL-BIST) participated by various schools in Davao City held at the RSM Events Center of Philippine Women's College of Davao (Official) earlier this morning, August 8, 2023.

𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑯𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑺 | The Cross Blazers Chorale performed during Trailblazer Week 2023's various segments and the Crossian Jam, held last July 17–21, 2023, at Holy Cross of Davao College, giving their best as they performed beautiful renditions of their songs.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 l The Cross Blazers Chorale of Holy Cross of Davao College together with the Sta. Cecilia Chorale celebrated the 175th Parochial Fiesta of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Pedro earlier this morning at 8:00 AM, presided over by Most Rev. Romulo G. Valles, D.D., the archbishop of Davao.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 l The Cross Blazers Chorale celebrated their first Fiesta Celebration of their Patron Saint, Mother of Perpetual Help. They were joined by some employees and students at the St. Therese of Lisieux Chapel, Holy Cross of Davao College. ❤🤍💙

Borela, a former assistant choirmaster of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, arranged popular pieces that were sung by many choral groups in the Philippines, such as "Awit ng Paghahangad", "Paraiso", "Ang Pag-Ibig, "Now That I Have You", "Heal the World", and many more. 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The Cross Blazers Chorale of Holy Cross of Davao College together with the Sta. Cecilia Chorale of San Pedro Cathedral Parish performed at the Atrium, NCCC Mall VP, formerly known as Victoria Plaza, during the 'Halad-Awit Alang Kay Santa Maria' segment at the event of 'Archdiocesan Marian Exhibit 4: Walking Together with the Heart of Mary' on Sunday, May 28. The said choir groups made the event even more meaningful and intimate by singing songs related to our dearest Mother Mary. Truly a memorable way to end the month of May.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The HCDC's Cross Blazers Chorale welcomed the attendees from respective schools in Region XI during the MCITS '23 Mindanao Conference for Information Technology Students.

The Cross Blazers Chorale also debuted their first polo shirt, bringing the name and glory of their alma mater, the Holy Cross of Davao College. The said choir will continue to bring joy and heartfelt performances as they continue to grow and improve their craft together. ❤️🤍💜
