SUNOG LANG KA; FERRIOLIAN KO. That's the message that Jonie seems to convey. Maski nasunugan, nisulod gihapon sya sa skwelahan. "How," you'd ask, "is it that he was still in uniform?" He washed the school uniform he was wearing the previous night to be able to wear it clean today, that's how.

He couldn't be more thankful for the money you--JVFNHS learners and teachers--generously gave out of your own pockets, which amounted to P1,360.00. Credits go to the Supreme Student Government led by Era Dumangcas for passing the hat.

Also, albeit belatedly, more stuff from some Senior High School students came, which had also been delivered to Jonie and his family.

Please note that the rider has an aversion to taking photos (apologies), thus failed to document the moment that Jonie and fam got the items consisting of rice and instant noodles.

DSWD, MAGTANYAG OG EDUCATIONAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SA MGA INDIGENT STUDENTS

Gianunsyo ni Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Erwin Tulfo nga pagasugdan na karong August 20 ang paghatag og educational cash assistance alang sa mga indigent students.

Ang tabang gikan sa DSWD kay ubos sa programang Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), kung asa ang mga kwalipikadong estudyante kay gitakdang makadawat og ayudang pinansyal nga magamit isip pampalit sa ilang gikinahanglan na school supplies, projects, allowances, school fees ug uban pang bayronon.

Dako ang matabang niini labina sa mga "student in crisis" o ang mga naga-skwela nga naapektuhan sa krisis.

Dugang pa ni Tulfo, pipila sa mga kwalipikadong maka-avail sa cash aid kay katung mga bread winner, working students, ulila/mga giabandona nga nakipuyo na sa kabanay, anak sa solo parent, walay trabaho ang mga ginikanan, anak sa OFW, anak sa PWD, anak nga biktima sa HIV, biktima sa pang-abuso, ug mga biktima sa kalamidad.

Ang mga kwalipikadong estudyante kay mamahimong makadawat og cash payout na P1,000 sa Elementary, P2,000 sa High School, P3,000 sa Senior High School, ug P4,000 sa College/Vocational.

Adunay duha ka pamaagi aron maka-avail sa programa: Alang sa mga walk-ins, gikinahanglan na muadto personal sa DSWD Regional o field offices ang estudyante kuyog ang ginikanan niini dala ang requirements.

Requirements: Certificate of Enrollment/form nga nagpamatuod na enrolled ang usa ka estudyante; authorization letter kung ugaling dili makaadto personal ang mag-apply sa cash assistance; ug ang valid ID sa parent og estudyante nga anaa sa college/vocational nga mag-apply sa programa.

Samtang alang sa mga mag-apply pinaagi sa online, mamahimong mag-email og request letter ngadto sa [email protected].

Mas maayong hulaton una ang text confirmation gikan sa DSWD una muadto sa ilang opisina.
