Just this morning, the UniDav Hospital, in coordination with the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) Safety Unit, participated in the city wide Earthquake and Tsunami drill.

All medical and non-medical staff were required to execute the “drop, cover, and hold” at the onset of the drill.

In preparation for the city-wide full scale earthquake and tsunami drill set on July 26, Friday, the UniDav Hospital, headed by its Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Department, conducted a rehearsal involving its medical and non-medical employees this morning.

Yesterday, we welcomed our guests and visitors from the Department of Health (DOH) Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau (HFSRB) to our brand new Ambulatory Infusion Therapeutic Hub (AITH).

A complete blood count (CBC) is a blood test. It measures the following:

☑️ Red blood cells, which carry oxygen
☑️ White blood cells, which fight infection
☑️ Hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells
☑️ Hematocrit, the amount of red blood cells in the blood
☑️ Platelets, which help blood to clot

A complete blood count can show unusual increases or decreases in cell counts. Those changes might point to a medical condition that calls for more testing.
