Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS) joins the National Children’s Month celebration through a symposium with the theme: “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring The Right To Life For All.”

November 22, 2023, a symposium takes place at the CBNHS gymnasium together with the class presidents, vice presidents, and secretaries of different sections across all grade levels.

Speaker Mohammad Hudhaifi Bin Shedique B. Alug, a medical officer from Southern Philippines Medical College Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and a first-year resident in the residency program in Psychiatry, delivers a profound discourse centered on Mental Health.

Dr. Alug passionately emphasizes the importance of mental health and imparts essential knowledge on various mental health issues, aimed to equip students with knowledge and awareness, fostering a deeper understanding of mental health.

“You should be kind to yourself because you cannot give kindness without having the kindness you need. With this, be kind to one another,” Dr. Alug said.

Dr. Alug extends his gratitude to CBNHS for the invitation amidst their busy days. Ending the symposium, the students raises their voice to emphasize, “Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa, Youth Matters!”
