𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟎𝟏⚡️ | The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) conducts the Zamboanga del Norte leg of its Power 101 program. The discussion covers the history and mandate of the NGCP, along with updates on their accomplishments and ongoing projects.

The NGCP also encourages local media to support their information dissemination efforts, particularly regarding the “Dos and Don’ts” around transmission lines and towers for public safety.

PROMOTING ARTS AND CULTURE | Jose Rizal Memorial State University’s (JRMSU) Main Campus in Dapitan City leads the charge in promoting culture and art appreciation with its Summit of Arts and Cultural Advocates on Music and its Magic.

The event is part of the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ 55th anniversary, with JRMSU serving as the Mindanao Satellite Venue for the simultaneous art summit.

Mr. Jann Dainver Maravilla, Director of Tiyatro Dasuliman, JRMSU-Main’s theatre group, moderates the event held at the university library’s audio-visual room.

Various choral groups from Dapitan and Dipolog attend the summit, where they discuss the significance of art not just as a subject but as an intrinsic part of life. According to Maravilla, he hopes that this summit will serve as the first step toward shifting public perception of arts and culture and paving the way for current and future generations to recognize its contribution to understanding our identity as Filipinos.

Around 2.3 million Filipinos in 21 provinces nationwide benefited from the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, receiving over P12 billion in government services and nearly P5 billion in financial assistance.

Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair had its project dry run in August 2023 in Biliran and its official and simultaneous launch in Ilocos Norte, Camarines Sur, Leyte, and Davao de Oro in September 2023.

The President strongly condemns the air incident in Bajo de Masinloc earlier this week, and stands by our brave men and women of the AFP, especially the Philippine Air Force (PAF).

The actions of the People’s Liberation Army - Air Force (PLAAF) aircraft were unjustified, illegal and reckless, especially as the PAF aircraft was undertaking a routine maritime security operation in Philippine sovereign airspace.

We have hardly started to calm the waters, and it is already worrying that there could be instability in our airspace.

The Philippines will always remain committed to proper diplomacy and peaceful means of resolving disputes. However, we strongly urge China to demonstrate that it is fully capable of responsible action, both in the seas and in the skies.
