Cebu Province will once again require travelers from Negros Oriental to secure a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result upon entry due to the surge of cases here.

This was mandated by Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia in an executive order signed tonight, June 12, 2021.

Aside from Negros Oriental, travelers from Bohol and Negros Occidental will also be required to secure a negative swab test result upon entry to Cebu.

Negative COVID-19 test results will be required from June 14 to July 24, 2021.

Garcia has also ordered the Department of Health to conduct rapid antigen tests to travelers who haven't secured a negative test result upon their arrival to Cebu.

According to the latest Provincial Health Office Data, Negros Oriental has a total of 1,837 active COVID-19 cases, 638 of which are in Dumaguete City.
