“I’ve always thought of my bookshop as a canvas — with spines, binding, vintage furniture, lamps, dried flowers, doilies, and handcrafted pieces as the medium. How do I tell a story with this space and create a memorable experience for whoever walks through the gray door (or is fortunate enough to find it)?

We are celebrating our first year since we opened this door. Since then we’ve fallen in love with the community and creativity that seems to be overflowing within Dumaguete. We’ve asked some of our friends to share how they feel when reading; or how they would imagine a story — with wooden book crates as the canvas.

Imaginarium: A LibrAria Anniversary Exhibit opens on December 1, Friday, at 5:30pm; and runs until December 15. We invite you to celebrate with us. Thank you for making our first year one for the books.”

Run the 21 Kilometer, 11 Kilometer or 5 Kilometer race on SEPTEMBER 17, 2023 (Sunday) 5:00AM at Burgos Street.
