The Global Cities Index provides a more complete comparison of cities, by ranking them not just on their economic performance, but considering other important factors that influence their relative strengths.

Globally, New York leads the list, which also claimed the top position in the Economics category. London secures the second spot, followed by San Jose, Tokyo, and Paris.

It’s heartbreaking to see that discrimination against Aspins still exists, but there is hope in knowing that more and more animal lovers have been stepping forward through the years to show the world that Aspins are exceptional and amazing companions.

Love knows no bounds or breed. Let’s keep celebrating and advocating for the dignity of Aspins! 💚

Gensan Hostel Treehouse Aspin 🐕 update: the female dog we’ve named, “Buko” was spayed (kapon) today & joins her sister, “Mindanao” (aka Minda) from having future homeless pups! Minda being older & cooperative was spayed earlier but not their mom!

For context: we inherited these 3-🐕🐕🐕 from the hostel extension as they were taking shelter at the site. Neighbors feed them but not house them. They are now family! But the mom, so wild & hard to pin down scavenges for food! Unfortunately, the unspayed mom is expecting pups again!! 😰 the neighbor across the way is keeping her…

It’s extremely difficult to explain to our community, the region, the island, the country on the importance of dog/cat population control. We need better governance, education & supplies to help make spaying/neutering free or affordable for all.

The cost to spay at 4k-6k per dog is not affordable for the average household in the 🇵🇭 To avoid homeless dogs, we must take matters into our own hands and homes until our society can wake up and adopt a more humane approach to our four-legged friends 🐕💔
