if your entire family is "big boned"--check if your child's weight exceeds the normal range for his age and height.. if so, he is overweight.

if you always shower your child with expensive gifts--they wont learn to save up for a treasured possession

always do what you say you are going to do. for example" i will take your toy if you don't play nicely"

comforting a crying infant( especially those less than 7 months old) won't result in spoiling.

say no and mean it.don't give in.

stay calm.

don't laugh when a child misbehaves.he might think that it is amusing and will continue his bad behavior.

don't shield your child from normal everyday frustrations.for example-don't buy toys you can't afford just so your child won't cry.

parents tend to treat their children the way they were treated.break the pattern of spoiling.

the spoiled child knows who to manipulate. the parents and grandparents must have a united front

be a role model.you won't expect your child to work hard if you are lazy.

3.wash your face 2x a day especially in the evening
