On Monday, SSLG Officers helped teachers to prepare for National Learning Camp school year 2024-2025. The SSLG Officers under the headship of Ellezandra Rhian Macanip, SSLG President, cleaned the New Building, Main building, and LYF building.

Yesterday, the SSLG Officers took part on the opening programme of National Learning Camp. Our very own SSLG President, Ellezandra Rhian Macanip led the Pledge of Commitment.

The ex*****on of the said event was indeed successful.

𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐀 𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐋 𝐍𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐈, 𝐆𝐀𝐓. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥!🇵🇭

Dr. Jose Rizal, a prominent Filipino nationalist, author, and polymath, was born on June 19, 1861, in Calamba, Laguna province. He is widely regarded as the greatest national hero of the Philippines. Rizal was an exceptional student who obtained a bachelor's degree from the Ateneo Municipal de Manila and pursued medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, later completing his medical training in Europe. Fluent in 22 languages, Rizal wrote his first novel, "𝙉𝙤𝙡𝙞 𝙢𝙞 𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙚" during his time in Europe, highlighting the injustices caused by Spanish colonization in the Philippines.

Rizal's return to the Philippines in 1892 led to the formation of 𝗟𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮, 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀. Subsequently, he was arrested by Spanish authorities and exiled to Dapitan. Despite his belief in peaceful means for liberty, Rizal was charged with 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮, 𝙨𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and 𝙧𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣, leading to his ex*****on on December 30, 1896.

His works, including "Noli Me Tángere" and "El Filibusterismo," inspired the Philippine revolution against Spanish rule. Today, Rizal's birthday on June 19 is celebrated as a special non-working holiday in Laguna, his native province, honoring his educational excellence and influence on Filipino history.

In line with proclamation no.8044 s. 1995 Youth in National Youth Commission (NYC) to be the policy-making and coordinating body of all youth-related institutions, programs, projects, and activities of the government. The Cavite province conducted an activity entitled YOUTH CONVERGENCE 2024 - LEADERSHIP IN MOTION "Overcoming youth leadership hurdles."

𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙩, 𝘾𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 12, 1898.

The shrine is Emilio Aguinaldo's ancestral birthplace, the only president of the First Philippine Republic and currently the first President of the Philippines. The house was built in 1845 out of wood and thatch and was demolished in 1849. On March 22, 1869, Aguinaldo was born here. Aguinaldo's house is a mansion with a floor space of over 14,000 square feet designed by Aguinaldo himself.

This month serves as a reminder of the progress made towards gender equality and the ongoing work needed to create a more just and inclusive world for all.
