The Kabataang Poblacion is in full celebration as they secure the 3rd place during the recently concluded Municipal Linggo ng Kabataan 2024 Mass Dance Competition. Bringing the Lambo Poblacion spirit, youth from Barangay Poblacion proves that we can slay and sway even in stage.

In Focus: With determination and hardwork, the Kabataang Poblacion is now gearing for Municipal Linggo ng Kabataan's Mass Dance Competition. Participants from Cluster 3 are ready to conquer the dance floor with their energetic and powerful moves.

Let us witness their incredible performance tomorrow, August 26, 2024 at Enrique D. Yap Sr. Cultural Center as Kabataang Poblacion once again showcase their undeniable talent and ingenuity.

Matagumpay na idinaos ang selebrasyon ng Linggo ng Kabataan ng Barangay Poblacion, Glan na may temang ""Mula sa pagklik tungo sa pag-unlad: Digital na Landas ng Kabataan para sa Napapanatiling Kaunlaran” sa liwasang Rizal, bayan ng Glan, lalawigan ng Sarangani.

Pinangunahan ng ikapitong konseho ng Sangguniang Kabataan ang tatlong araw na pagdiriwang, sa isang engrandeng parada ng lahi. Tampok ang kasuotan ng iba’t-ibang pangkat etnolinggwistiko ng Pilipinas.Ibinida ng Kabataang Poblacion ang kanilang husay at galing sa paglahok sa iba’t-ibang paligsahan at patimpalak.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat si Hon. Joshua M. Balansag sa suportang ipinakita ng mga kabataang Poblacion mula sa pitong distrito. “Hindi magiging matagumpay ang ating Linggo ng Kabataan 2024 kung wala kayo.” Nagpapasalamat din siya sa lahat na tumulong upang maisakatuparan ang pagsasagawa ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2024.

Pinatunayan muli ng Kabataang Poblacion ang tunay na lakas ng kabataan. Na tayo ay higit pa sa kanilang inaakala, na tayo ay kaagapay ng bayan tungo sa pag-unlad at ikauunlad ng ating kapwa kabataan.

Sama-sama tayong makilahok at makisaya ngayong ika-17 ng Agosto, 2024 bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2024. Inaanyayahan namin ang bawat pamilya, ang aming mga kaibigan, kabarkada at buong ka-barangay na lumahok. Halina't tumakbo para sa kalusugan, tumulong para sa kabataan, at magkibahagi para sa isang magandang adhikain. Huwag palampasin ang pagkakataong ito na makiisa at magbigay saya sa ating komunidad. Kaya ano pa ang iyong hinihintay? Tara na at tumakbo!

Sabay sa pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2024 ng Poblacion Glan Sarangani Province, inaanyayahan namin kayong makilahok sa isang makabuluhang Fun Run at Zumba para sa ating Kabataang Poblacion! Ang "𝘿𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙙𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮" ay gaganapin sa ika-17 ng Agosto, 2024, sa Barangay Hall ng Poblacion, Glan, Sarangani Province. Sama-sama nating isulong ang pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan para sa mas magandang kinabukasan! Isama ang buong pamilya at mga kaibigan at mag-enjoy habang tumatakbo para sa isang napakagandang layunin!

Tuklasin ang saya ng pagtutulungan at maglakad-takbo para sa magandang kinabukasan kasama ang kabataan!

Bawat hakbang ay mahalaga! Sa halagang ₱20, ito ay malaking pakinabang upang suportahan ang bawat kabataan ng ating poblacion na nakararanas ng iba't ibang hadlang patungo sa kanilang maliwanag na hinaharap. Sa pagsali sa “𝘿𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙙𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮,” sama-sama tayong makilahok at makisabay para sa maasenso at masiglang komunidad ng kabataan!

SK Poblacion Glan Conducted Barangay Junior Officials 2024, Hon. Lara Inspires the participants in her Transformational Leadership Talk

The 7th Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Council of Barangay Poblacion, Glan, successfully conducted the Barangay Junior Officials Training on August 10 to 11, 2024, at Wella's Bayview in Barangay Taluya, Glan, Sarangani Province.

One of the key highlights of the two-day training is the inspirational talk on transformational leadership delivered by Hon. Arla Mae T. Lara, Barangay Council Member. In her speech, Hon. Lara emphasized the crucial role of leadership in inspiring and guiding others, highlighting how effective leadership can transform communities and shape the future by molding tomorrow's leaders.

Hon. Lara also encouraged this year's batch of Barangay Junior Officials to remain committed to serving the youth, generating innovative ideas, and presenting new initiatives that empower the youth of Barangay Poblacion. She underscored the importance of their role in continuing the legacy of leadership and community service.

Meanwhile, Hon. Joshua M. Balansag, in his address, expressed his hope that these Barangay Junior Officials will become valuable partners of the 7th Sangguniang Kabataan Council in the implementation of their programs, projects, and activities - forging a more stronger and united youth community in Poblacion.

The Barangay Junior Officials Training aims to equip the youth of Barangay Poblacion with the essential skills and knowledge they need as they take on the responsibilities of being the junior counterparts of their Barangay and SK officials.

Here are the 2024 Sarangani Junior Officials and Junior Department Heads of the Provincial Government of Sarangani.

Under the Local Youth Development Office, the Sarangani Junior Officials and Junior Department Heads program is now in its sixth year with the theme "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development."

In line with the month-long celebration of the Buwan ng Kabataan 2024 of Glan the Local Government Unit of Glan through the Municipal Youth Developmet Office and in partnership with the Municipal Tourism Operations Office and the Rural Health Unit brings you the MURAL PAINTING COMPETITION with the theme: "FROM CLICKS TO PROGRESS, YOUTH DIGITAL PATHWAYS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT"

Mechanics:

1. Open to all Mural Artist of the Municipality of Glan;
2. Resident of the Municipality of Glan;
3. Youth aging 15-30 years old;
4. Each group must compose atleast 3-5 members;
5. The organizer will only provide the paints. Each participating group must bring their own brushes and other necessary things needed in the competion; and
6. Only 9 teams will be catered.

Guest Speaker Marlon R. Daquigan, JD, shared his expertise on these subjects, guiding the youth in developing their skills in leadership and governance.

This event aims to empower the young leaders of Poblacion, fostering their understanding of legislative processes and enhancing their ability to contribute effectively to their community.
