Advisory: Temporary Suspension of Clearance Signing at the SSC Office
To ensure the smooth facilitation of the upcoming graduation ceremony for NSTP CWTS, we would like to inform all students from 1st year to 3rd year that the signing of clearances at the SSC Office will be temporarily suspended on May 29, 2024. This measure is necessary to ensure that it proceeds without any issues.
Please note that this suspension is temporary, and a separate announcement will be made to inform everyone when the clearance signing will resume. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period.
However, graduating students will still be able to have their clearances signed on May 29, 2024, despite the temporary suspension for others. This exception is being made to ensure that the graduation process for our 4th year students is not delayed.
Please stay tuned for further updates regarding the resumption of clearance signing.
ADVISORY:
In light of the ongoing extreme heatwave affecting the country, a temporary suspension of the school uniform policy has been enacted. This decision has been made with the safety and well-being of our students as our top priority.
Given the exceptionally high temperatures, it is essential to ensure that students are comfortable and adequately protected from the heat while attending classes and engaging in school activities. Therefore, effective immediately, all students are advised to wear DECENT CASUAL ATTIRE that is appropriate for a school setting.
Please note that this temporary suspension of the school uniform policy will remain in effect until weather conditions improve and a formal announcement is made regarding its reinstatement. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary.

"The interconnectedness of women to our struggles as human beings. Environment man yan, kagutuman man yan, violence man yan, can never be divorced or underemphasized. Hindi mawawalay sa bawat elemento ng buhay na may gender componentโ may babae na involved in any little decision, in any major decision. Kahit wala na tayo sa world war decision making that destroyed the major fabric of our society. Can you imagine the casualty? Dinaanan ng mga nangyayaring violence, dinaanan by a scroll of a finger.

ABANTE BABAE, PALABAN MILITANTE!"
READ: Message of the Supreme Student Council of ESSU Guiuan for the International Women's Month Celebration.
"From the 'babae' of the katagalugan, to the 'babayi'of the kabisayaan, and to the 'ay-ayem' of the Subanen, there is a common, essential fact that defines every aspect of our widely diverse culture: women are the master weavers of our society, symbolizing power. Women have endured far too long from inequality and undervaluation, bound by the injustices and biases against women. Nevertheless, women have persevered despite all challenges, their voices thundering with resistance and their actions leading a path for development.
Filipino women are rewriting the story and marching in the chambers of power and influence. They are tearing down glass ceilings as well as shattering them, opening the door for a society that is more egalitarian and inclusive. We are all inspired by leaders like Risa Hontiveros because she fearlessly stand up for important causes, such as establishing safe spaces, protecting the rights of students, and promoting women's empowerment. Her determination, bravery, and unshaken passion serve as a reminder that when driven by the passion of remarkable women, progress has no bounds.
Let us recommit to defending Filipino women's rights and dignity as we honor their incredible progress while making sure they receive the respect and acknowledgment they so well deserve. While they continue to influence the course of our country, let us recognize their contributions, respect their sacrifices, and show our support for them. Because of the collective strength of Filipino women, everyone can hope for a more promising and just future."

"Women are leaders, homemakers, educators, innovators, and a constant source of inspiration. They have been at the forefront of countless transformations, shaping important social structures, and driving profound changes in our society. They have fearlessly challenged norms, shattered barriers, and paved the way for future generations. They have shown us that strength and resilience know no gender boundaries.
However, despite these remarkable achievements, there is still much work to be done. The gender gap persists, and it is our collective responsibility to address it. Women's voices must be amplified, their accomplishments celebrated, and their rights protected.
To all the incredible women out there, your strength inspires us, your courage motivates us, and your love nurtures us.
Happy Women's Month."
READ: Message of the University Supreme Student Council- Baybay for the International Women's Month Celebration.
"Women are the driving force of excellence, commitment, and leadership.
We are not limited to discussing the interests of women when we discuss gender equality and the advancement of women's rights. Women and our community as a whole have benefited from the kinds of reforms that women have worked for and achieved. When we discuss women's progress, we are discussing the advancement of our nation.
This month, womenโs history highlights their accomplishments wherein we collectively celebrate the milestone of women on how far they have come in breaking the disproportionate and underrepresented lens of leadership. Despite apparent difficulties for women in their positions that require both short and long-term solutions, recent surges of women into leadership roles have instilled optimism and inspiration.
Still, women in positions of decision-making are the exception rather than the rule. Women's voices continue to be excluded from the main decision-making processes because there is still a critical mass of women lacking in our boardrooms. In addition, an unprecedented number of women are resigning from leadership roles not because they are unable to handle the strain rather, it is because they do not align with the cultures and notions of power and leadership that are dominated by men. Consequently, this does not suggest that men and women do not "tend and befriend" or that women do not have "fight or flight" reactions; rather, it suggests that leaders of both sexes should strive to foster a sense of community and establish bridges as effective leadership strategies.
Building on the achievements of our forebears, let us endeavor to establish a society in which women and men coexist as equals in all spheres of the political, economic, and social spheres; women are free to work and raise a family; women do not experience poverty because they choose to take care of others; and in which everyone is allowed to live their life without fear of violence, harassment, or discrimination.
With this, the University Supreme Student Council โ Baybay, has seen the strengths many women bring to the arena of leaders to address critical concerns in various settings. These strengths of intelligence, experience, and insights of all of humanity have broken the barriers and created a new lens of authority for them. We collectively support women such as world leaders, government officials, business owners, student council officials, and all empowered women across the globe in their power and the need to redefine leadership.
Abante Babae!"
