PAGPAPATUPAD NG ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/ DISTANCE LEARNING MODALITY SA
LAHAT NG ANTAS NG PAMPUBLIKONG PAARALAN AT DISCRETIONARY PARA SA MGA UNIBERSIDAD/ KOLEHIYO AT MGA PRIBADONG PAARALAN

Sa pagsubaybay ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa kalalagayan ng Heat Index, ito ay bumaba kumpara noong mga nakaraang araw na nasa danger status. Sa ngayon at sa mga susunod na araw, ang Lalawigan ay inaasahan na makararanas ng nasa 37 hanggang 40 degrees Celsius o kategoryang nasa "Extreme Caution" na lang

Kaugnay nito, upang patuloy na mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga Bulakenyo, batay rin sa napagkasunduan ng Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, ipinapabatid ang mga sumusunod:

1. Itinatagubilin na ibalik ang pagpapatupad ng Asynchronous Classes/Distance Learning
Modality sa mababa at mataas na antas ng pampublikong paaralan;

2. Hinihikayat man ang pagpapatupad ng nasabing learning modality sa mga unibersidad kolehiyo at sa lahat ng antas ng pribadong paaralan lalo na sa mga walang mga sapat na air-condition o hindi malamig na silid paaralan, bagama't ito ay discretionary o nasa pagpapasya na ng kanilang pamunuan.

Ang mga nabanggit na tagubilin ay ipatutupad mula Mayo 13, 2024 at ipagpapatuloy hanggang maglabas ng panibagong direktiba patungkol sa learning modality. Ito ay upang
maipagpagpatuloy ng mga paaralan ang kanilang mga nakatakdang gawain ngunit mahigpit na pinapaalalahanan na tiyakin at bigyang prayoridad ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral.

Muli, pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na sundin ang mga preventive measures upang maiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng suliranin sa kalusugan.

Mangyaring makipag-ugnayan sa Tanggapan ng Punong Lalawigan o sa PDRRMC kung sakaling may malalaman na nangangailangan ng tulong ng ating pamahalaan. Itinatagubilin ang pagiging alerto at pag-ungat ng bawat isa.

ADVISORY

28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Drop Everything and Read! 📖

In line with the implementation of the National Reading Program as an integral component of the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP), the Department of Education implements Catch-up Fridays.

Starting this January 12, 2024, through the Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Day, this initiative aims to provide learners with the opportunity to engage in independent silent reading of their preferred material.

Catch-up Fridays is designed to strengthen the foundational, social, and other relevant skills necessary to actualize the intent of the basic education curriculum by focusing on the development of learner's reading, critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills.
