It is with great pride and honor that we present here in our channel our fellow Ilonggo, a multi-awarded winning filmmaker and theatre producer, who made us all proud, Jhett Tolentino.

Jhett was known as the second Filipino to be blessed with a Tony Award. He got three Tony Awards since 2013 and has also recently received his first Grammy Award in 2017. We, in Iloilo Prima Galaw is so proud to have his heart in the productions that we do. His great help paved way to our most successful grand plays in Iloilo City and in Manila.

Choco as what we fondly call him is Iloilo Prima Galaw's junior artist who auditioned for a role in 2017. His talent in singing and ardent love for performance became his gateway to be part of Frozen as Hans, Iloilo Prima Galaw's 2017 grand stage offering which was based was Walt Disney's animated film. Eventually after that, he joined in the various mall shows and corporate performances of the company until he was tapped again to be part of Beauty and the Beast were he played Gaston.

Presently, Choco is an architecture student in the University of San Agustin and hopes to graduate soon so he can soar high above his dreams.

For this episode, we present to you, Romie John Delariarte, the founding president and the resident stage director and choreographer of Iloilo Prima Galaw.

Sir D, as we fondly call him finished his Masterclass in Theatre Directing at the Cultural Center of the Philippines under the tutelage of the national artist for theatre, Tony Mabesa. He has done numerous stage plays in Iloilo City and in Manila like Ang Sistema ni Propesor Tuko (2008) which was staged at the CAP Auditoriums in Iloilo City and Antique, Oedipus Rex (September 2009) at CAP Iloilo, A Night for a Little Romance (February 2010) which was IPG's first original post-Valentine dinner-play presented at the Emilion Function Center, The Lion King (September 2010) at CAP Iloilo and Nick Joaquin’s Three Generations (January 2011), the first mobile theater offering presented at the Holy Rosary Academy’s auditorium and eventually brought it to the Cultural Center of the Philippines for the Pasinaya Arts Festival. The company has also partnered with the Dominican Sister’s of Molo by making and staging The Little Star of Jesus, an original musical on the life of their foundress (January 2-3, 2011 at the Holy Rosary Auditorium) and with St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo’s Faith In One Dream (February 14-18, 2011 at St. Paul University Iloilo’s Marian Theater), a musical for their centennial celebration.

After all the aforementioned productions, he continued to produce stage productions like Miss Saigon and Leoncio Deriada’s The Dog Eaters for Pasinaya Arts Festival (2012), The Little Mermaid and Jesus Peralta’s Play The Judas at the CCP (2013), Cinderella and Al Santos’ Ang a Sistema Ni Propesor Tuko at the CCP (2014), Mulan and Marcelino Agana’s New Yorker in Tondo at the CCP (2015), Peter Pan, Leoncio Deriada’s The Riddle of the Sphinx (2016), Frozen and The Dancers at the CCP (2017), Moana, Peter Solis Nery’s Tic Tac Toe to the CCP for the Pasinaya Arts Festival and 60 Minutes, 3-1-act-plays at the CAP Auditorium (2018), Beauty and the Beast, Dr. Joem Antonio’s Gabrielle: The Domestic Problems of the Good King George for Pasinaya Arts Festival at the CCP and DOS, a 2-1-act-plays in Iloilo City (2019) and Commedia Dell’Arte, a 3-1-act-plays featuring Peter Solis Nery’s Tic Tac Toe, Dr. Joem Antonio’s Gabrielle: The Domestic Problems of the Good King George and Jobert Lazarte’s Pancho Aunor’s Blue Balls of Despair and Disillusionment in Iloilo City (2020).

He also finished film under Joel Lamangan for Viva Films and Star Cinema. His choreographed dances went to the national finals like in Baguio City for Sayawit Dance Competition (Champion) and in Metro Manila for the National Funky Dance Competition (Second Place). He was featured in Panay News as one of the Outstanding artists of Iloilo City and in other dailies. He was awarded as a Dungganon Nga Dumangasanon and Best Stage Director of Iloilo City. His brainchild, Iloilo Prima Galaw became one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organisations (TAYO) of the Philippines, the Teletech's Special Awardee for Excellence in Youth Development and Education and a recipient of Jerry Trenas' Special Citation for Achievement in Culture and the Arts.

Aside from being an artist, he also works as a teacher in St. Paul University Iloilo (SPUI), Senior High School Department and at the same time, the university's Manager for the Office of Student Affairs and adviser of the Paulinian Supreme Council, adviser/moderator of The Paulinian, SPUI's official school paper and the Executive Editor of the university's yearbook.

Zion has been featured in this channel for so many times. His involvement in the various productions of IPG this pandemic has been so encouraging and inspiring. His sense of volunteerism together with his parents was stirring and heartwarming. Always willing to make a sacrifice regardless of cost and recognition.

Hi's first stage baptism was in Disney Musical produced by St. Paul School, Barotac Nuevo in partnership with Iloilo Prima Galaw. After two years of being in the production, he was invited to be part of the company via Moana, IPG's stage adaptation based from Walt Disney's Film in 2018. Heihei was his role in the aforementioned play. In 2019, he was given a meatier role as Cogsworth in the play Beauty and the Beast. In the same year, he was lucky enough to perform in Pasinaya Arts Festival at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Manila for the play Dr. Joem Antonio's Gabrielle, The Domestic Problems of the Good King George. His talent surely soared high though his prolific talent and endless dedication.

He is now studying in St. Paul School, Barotac Nuevo as an incoming senior high school student.

For this episode, we present Nove Deanry Sevilla. He first joined Iloilo Prima Galaw's creative workshops held in St. Paul School, Barotac Nuevo. Because of his interest and talent, he was invited to be part of the company. After undergoing a training, he was given a role in the first original stage play of IPG entitled "A Night for a Little Romance" opposite Myrtle Sarrosa, the big winner of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother. The play was written by Leolette Esther Hubag and directed by Romie John Delariarte. After a few months, he was given another artistic stint in the Lion King as Zazu, Iloilo Prima Galaw's stage adaptation based from Walt Disney's film.

In 2017, he went back to the company to work as a marketing manager and landed on another role in Frozen as Olaf. He was also part of Nick Joaquin's Three Generations when it was presented at the Cultural Center of the Philippines for Pasinaya Arts Festival. He graduated Mass Communications at the Central Philippine University. Presently, he works as an OIC in the Commission on Elections in Ajuy, Iloilo.

For this episode, we present Kristine Chan, one of Iloilo Prima Galaw's pioneer artists who started the dream and still trying to continue living the dream. Her stage credits include: Ang Sistema Ni Propesor Tuko, Oedipus Rex, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Walang Sugat, Minda Mora, Sound of Music, Moana and Beauty and the Beast. At the Cultural Center of the Philippines, she was part of Leoncio Deriada's Riddle of the Sphinx, Peter Solis Nery's Tic tac Toe and Nick Joaquin's Three Generations for the Pasinaya Arts Festival. Offstage, she mentors Iloilo Prima Galaw artists and workshop participants in speech and theatre.

Professionally, she is a registered nurse who ventured as a businesswoman, events coordinator, tour guide, English teacher and tutor, host, travel tour manager, a cook and a lot more - name it, she's doing it! Despite her busy schedule, she makes it sure to give time to her endless passion in theatre and performance.

Liam Baluran, Iloilo Prima Galaw's youngest senior artist is our featured artist for this episode. At 7 years old, he started attending creative workshops conducted by the company in St. Paul School, Barotac Nuevo. Because of his interest to learn and his ability to follow instructions, he was invited to be an artist.

Being in Iloilo Prima Galaw, he continued doing workshops and made numerous stage performances in mall and corporate shows until he became part of the grand play Mulan in 2015. In that play, he run, bounced, laughed and jumped until he was given meaty roles in Peter Pan as a lost boy, Young Kristoff in Frozen, Heihei in Moana and Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast. He was also casted in Leoncio Deriada's Riddle of the Sphinx and his greatest achievement was when he performed at the Cultural Centre of the Philippines, Manila for Dr. Joem Antonio's Gabrielle, The Domestic Problems of the Good King George in 2019 for the Pasinaya Arts Festival. And due to his immense passion and prolific talent for acting, he landed a role in a biographical film of traffic czar B**g Nebrija of MMDA as the young Nebrija. This film was shown in Metro Manila Cinemas.
