SOS Children’s Villages believes that the best place for a child to grow up is within a family environment. It is within a family that a child can develop an identity, self- confidence, and individual talents, while securing his or her physical and emotional well-being.

The organization has been active in the field of children’s rights and committed to children’s needs and concerns. Programs and activities focus on children who have lost the care of their own parents and children of families with difficult circumstances.

Another good news to look forward to!

Councilor Dolph Ganzon joined Chef Chachpol Suaisom of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo during his online cooking class today. This activity is one of the many collaborations that FEAST will be doing with Marriott.

Through these collaborations, more urban farmers will be born as we assist the barangays of Iloilo City on their community edible garden projects - from planting to harvesting their produce, providing food security to the community and helping the farmers sell their products to the consumers, restaurants and hotels.

Together, we will surpass not just COVID-19, but more problems that we are currently facing! Bato Iloilo!

On this day some 130+ years ago when the Queen Regent of Spain bestowed upon then Municipality of Iloilo the title of "Ciudad de Iloilo". However, due to the Spain and Philippine-American War in 1903, Iloilo City was reverted back to the status of Municipality. In 1936, the Ilonggos worked hard to re-establish and regain the cityhood status of Iloilo City.

Recently, Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon & Councilor Rudolph Jeffrey Ganzon passed an ordinance to recognize October 5 as "Adlaw sang Ciudad de Iloilo" to commemorate the glory and honor of our beloved city & the entire province of Iloilo through the years!

Watch out as we plan the activities to come when we celebrate this glorious day in the years to come!
