Cancelled Flights Due to Eruption of Mt. Kanlaon

As of June 4, 2024; 1:00 AM

Due to the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon in Negros Island on Monday evening, June 3 and the subsequent presence of volcanic ash in the surrounding airspace, Cebu Pacific has made the decision to cancel the following flights scheduled for June 4 based on the latest forecast:

5J 473/474: Manila – Bacolod - Manila

5J 451/452: Manila – Iloilo – Manila

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

For other flights on June 4 to Bacolod and Iloilo, CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights. They may avail themselves of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

The safety of our passengers and crew is our priority and we are closely monitoring the situation. As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may take place in the coming days. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.

Cebu Pacific will transport animals such as dogs, cats and turtles as air cargo together with CebGo on domestic flights in the Philippines while marine and aquatic animals are allowed for international flights. Acceptance and loading of animals start two hours before the scheduled departure time from 4PM onwards only. Use caution when transporting snub-nosed breeds. It is recommended that these pets are transported in crates one size larger than they normally require.
