𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Architects, Volunteers Unite for Coastal Cleanup in Leganes

In celebration of World Architecture Day, a group of architects and volunteers from various organizations joined forces for a coastal cleanup drive in Barangay MV Hechanova, Leganes, Iloilo.

The event, which took place from 7 AM to 9 AM this October 12, 2024, aimed to contribute to the preservation of the coastal environment and promote sustainable practices.

Participating organizations included the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) District C4, UAP Hamili Chapter, United Architects of the Philippines Students Auxiliary (UAPSA) - ISAT U Chapter, the Arkitekton, and the Junior Philippine Institute of Architects (JPIA) - ISAT U Chapter.

Volunteers from these organizations worked together to collect trash and debris along the coastline, helping to prevent pollution and protect marine life.

The coastal clean-up initiative was a significant step towards environmental conservation, and demonstrated the commitment of the organizations and the community to protect the natural beauty of Leganes, Iloilo.
